FarCry5.exe process priority set at Below Normal

    Hello,

on my system the "FarCry5.exe" process seems to set its own priority at Below Normal at launch for some reason.
Needless to say this is quite bad, as it makes the game more prone to stuttering and it possibly yields irregular frame pacing - in general that's a weird choice, to say the least.
That would not be a problem, though, if one could use Process Lasso (or other similar programs) to raise priority back to Normal, but the FarCry5.exe process seems to be protected and any attempt at modifying its priority leads to an "Access Denied" system error: in general, no program can alter the priority or even monitor the process.
I basically believe the DRM is responsible for this, therefore I kindly ask the development team to sort this out with an hotfix or a lightweight patch.

I second that. In windows 10 i use to be able to set process priority in the task manager.
With Far cry 5 i get the same message as above "Acess denied". Mine is however set to Normal.

    I got the same issue.
I have stutter issues and read about tips to prevent stutter and that is by changing priority in task manager. But i also get that "Access Denid" crap and i have now given up.

Have you tried using the -high switch in the Game Launch arguments ?.

Just click properties scroll to the bottom, select edit then type -high then hit save.

    Give this a try.
