Please (!) Add an Option to Deactivate FLASHING CORPSES / ITEMS

    Dear Ubisoft,

Thank you for creating not only the best Far Cry until this day, thank you for one of the most immersive shooters of all time!

This game has so many user friendly HUD options for an increased immersion it is above any else shooter I have ever seen!

But there are 2 things that reduce my immersion considerably:

    1. The flashing dead bodies / weapons / interactable objects

    2. The lacking option to ONLY display the mission waypoint marker and the manual player set marker within the COMPASS

Could you please patch in these tiny options so that my game experience with Far Cry 5 can reach 100% immersion?

I deactivated everything of the HUD elements except the compass.

But now the navigation to mission destinations is difficult without an indicator in the compass showing a dot or something? I only want the compass to show me the destination as a dot or symbol, not the floating distracting yellow circle that is visible IN the gameworld. I deactivated that in the interface options.

If these two abovementioned requests are heard by Ubisoft, then Far Cry 5 is not only my GotY but the FPS of the decade in my book!!

As a sign of my gratitude I will also buy the season pass and support the developers for their dedication and hard work!!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH UBISOFT :-)

Totally agree , great game but would be nice to have the option to put the objective markers in the compass only.

An option to disable enemy markers from the compass would be sweet too, I did disable enemy markers but they still show in compass.

Yeah. That's the one that shuts it off.

The cool thing is that I already requested the same thing for Far Cry 3 years ago and guess what:

Ubisoft Developers DID care about the request of their community and promptly patched in an option to deactivate the golden flashing effect plus a ton of other HUD customization options! :-D

Regrettably, they didn't include that option in Far Cry 4 so I hope they will patch in that option together with the waypoint marker within the compass into Far Cry 5 soon.

    My fingers are crossed! :-)

Nice, hopefully they will. I’ve noticed a bug now though the option to disable the objectives message doesn’t work properly. When you turn it off it goes away but when your objective changes it stays there again 😔

Yes I noticed that too I hope they fix the bug and add mission markers to the compass so I can play the game only with the compass for maximum immersion.

Another immersion junkie here and I just disable the whole HUD and use the map for finding my way. How anyone can display all the signs of being an immersion junkie, as the OP does, but then admit that they leave the compass on seems contradictory to me.

I'll be eternally grateful to Ubi for FINALLY giving us a proper 'No HUD' option (although it's not absolute as I mentioned in another thread).
