What about the significant amount of players using hacks in this game? | Forums

I am encountering more players who are using hacks every day, in all game mods. Just an example (one of many), I've been dueling a low ranked guy who, it seems, has been winning tournaments around, judging by the exclusive ornaments on his characters heads. I was not able to land a single hit, all of my attacks getting parried and eventually getting owned 0:3 in several matches. In a matter of speaking I and many others, I presume, are getting owned by low (and sadly higher) ranked players, who are using hacks, on daily basis. By the way, one does not get a complete knowledge of a class in 1 rank. I am rank 45 currently and been fighting higher ranked players and even if I lose I manage to put up a good fight. Also, there are 100+ ranked players who have been pushing to the top by blatant hacking as well (speed, GB, parry hacks, etc) - I will provide the corresponding nicknames internally, the above-mentioned scum is an exception.

So my questions are: Why NOTHING has been done to prevent the blatant cheating on daily basis? Are You alright with people winning tournaments with parry, GB hacks? Are You happy with the significant amount of people ruining the experience of the other half of the honest player base? Why are You ignoring the proofs that we are providing you with?

I am paying for a product, which is supposed to DELIVER. If there are significant obstacles (like the blatant cheating currently), problems with the product, that prevent a client to use the product to its purpose and function, then the product should be considered corrupt and charging people cash for a corrupt and broken product is considered immoral and ILLEGAL. Therefore, the subject of sanctions is not the single, cheating player, but the company, Your company itself.

I and the rest of the community who care, expect a review on this problem, what has been done so far, what are you planing to implement in order to prevent cheating in this game. Personally I am pretty tired of Your carefree ******** attitude on this matter so far, but then again I have the time and resource to lead a campaign against You until You are forced to no longer hide your heads in the sand and start giving answers and start working on a solution on this, pay attention on the following word, GROWING problem.

Well, first of all, don't you think that very good rep 1 guys could bought this game to change platform. So, he could have 100+ rep on char on another platform.

And remember about lags and ping. Some could parry just of 100+ ping.

Dude, do not bring lags and pings to the table because because there is people that have a lot of knowledge on video games and that is not going to pass here and i am letting you know that. Second of course people hack!, there is no question about it, they had hacks for this before it even came out of the beta. Now when you have a player that runs into the dominion and wrecks every single player because his predictions are sub par would raise an eyebrow right? I mean there is skill and there is 100% prediction witch is not exactly possible. If every player that i had a question mark on would mostly build revenge because they would barely get off it if attacked by multiple players. Are there scripts for this game, sure they are research and you will find a lot of stuff on this. At first i did not wanted to believe it but it's blatantly obvious when they cheat. Every time you run into a cheating ******bag you best bet is play MC Hammer "Can't Touch This" don't bother. You can have prediction, but it won't be perfect, and it would take a you few fights to read someone...but no..you got these super players run in like Sloth from Goonies and yell "Hey Guyuuuyys!" that predict every player. Do't get me started on the console and remote play that they use scripts also..there are tools i am sure that let you map keyboard commands to ps4 controller and using Remote Play t's impossible to get banned. On pc however yes but i am sure they are one step ahead on that one. So what's up? No cheating right??

That people should know that cheating is not an answer to good plays in games like For Honor.
And, I didn't say there are no cheaters at all. Sometimes I just can't explain to myself dude on PK, with this assassins block that parry absolutly everything. And I believe there are enough people with hacks, cause every game have it.

You are a clever one aren't you? How about you start with providing the list of the cheating players that have been sanctioned, the supposed nicknames are, were public domain and providing those should not be in any violation of personal rights, in a matter of speaking the regular folks rights are concerned here, not the people who are cheating. Second, give us a little more insight on the anti-cheat system you are using and it's efficiency in percentages. The community has the right tо know this information, please provide or redirect us to a section where we could inform ourselves on this matter.

Well, I didn't have "Easy anti-cheat disconnections" from S4 released, so it's possible there is no anti-cheat system since than.

Punkbuster did it right, they would shame those that did get busted cheating. Keeping it all behind curtains you basically do not want to acknowledge people cheat. As far as reporting, What are you going to do if someone cheats on ps4 using remote play and keyboard commands? There is no way for you to read that data since you can't detect third party software doing the magic.

The problem with players sharing cheaters' names is that it's not sure that it's a cheat. There are players not understanding certain game mechanics and starting to accuse the opponent for cheating. In other cases, something is wrong with the connection and they move weirdly. Some people just have godly reaction time.

people get falsely accused of cheating all the time. i reckon most people who get accused of it aren't actually hacking. i haven't met anyone in For Honor who has done something that i can't do or can't be explained by lag, yet there seems to be people who meet them daily.

i've seen a couple of people who give of vibes of botting though.
