    Far Cry changes microfone volume level

    Hi every time i start Far Cry 5 it changes my microfone volume level to 100!
    The ingame chat is deactivated from me.

    So it dont use the mic at all but changes the volume.
    This is really bad. At 100 my microfone is like sh....+

    Is there an update planend or an solution?

    same is happening to me (kraken 7.1 v2) and this is not the first game that makes it happen. All you can do imo is to manually change your mic levels where you desire after it changes.
    I know it's annoying, especially if you are streaming

    Yep to me too. Using Logitech USB headphones. Even with the "allow apps to take control of it" checked off.

    This happens to my friend too. He has Asus 7.1 headphones. Please fix this.

    Found a work around

    If you aren't using the in-game voice and want it to stop jacking your mic volume to 100% go into
    Code:
    Documents\My Games\Far Cry 5\
    and edit
    Code:
    gamerprofile.xml
    in that file find
    Code:
    VoiceChatEnabled="1"
    and change it to
    Code:
    VoiceChatEnabled="0"

    Thank you, xDIablo. Your fix worked.

    So f***ing dumb that any game in 2018 is taking over your mic. Potato Ubisoft coders.
