Can't change priority or cpu affinity, access denied?

I usually find far cry 4 would run smother with real-time priority and some of my cpu cores unselected but far cry 5 says access denied when I try, why is that?

I have the same problem, and it seems to be running mostly on two cores for me. 7900x at 4.7ghz and two cores will hit 100 percent while the others are at like 10. I watched benchmarks on youtube and I don't see other people having my problem. setting the affinity might help but it won't let me

It's because of the anti-cheat. There are work-arounds to disable it.

can u plz post here how to change priority or pm me also? a lot of people in for honor (or maybe just me now) have this glitch where the fps stutters like hell even on minimum graphics even with a gtx 1080. the only way to fix it is disabling core 7 in for honor with task manager but it says access denied for changing priority and disabling cores.

Seems my crashing is due to some CPU unbalance which is mostly Game Issue...Got access denided when trying to change affinity.

No crash when i startup lots of backround apps even for hours...Got CPU busy elswhere ...and im neraly guessing..
