Biggest gripe so far. I can understand if bears take more than a few shots to bring down but a ******* turkey can take almost an entire mag of AR fire? The immersion is immediately shattered when I can one tap cultists but turkeys and wolves drain my ammo faster than flies on ****.
And this makes sense how? I feel they should balance it so bows give extra material or incur a penalty for bullet kills like they do for vehicle and explosion kills. Regardless, animals should not be allowed to eat 10 shots and still either run at you OR run away at full speed.Originally Posted by All.Names.Taken Go to original post
That's been the norm in the FC series.Originally Posted by All.Names.Taken Go to original post

Actually, though, it is only fair in the context of "game play" and not "real life." I mean, you have 160 whacks at killing it and I just have 12.
Feels a bit like they are promoting micro transactions with the scarcity of ammo and the ridiculous immersion breaking bullet sponginess of animals. One cougar and all my ammo is gone, really? Have to constantly buy more as the environment doesn't come close to providing enough. Oh, another cougar already? It just killed the vendor so no ammo for me :P
I can see bears and cougars being a threat, but in RL both of those will typically avoid and run from humans instead of stalk and attack over and over and over all day. The only exception is if they have younglings and you stumble too nearby them. True to life that turkeys are real aggressive though LOL. But normal turkeys can't take several assault rifle rounds and then kill you.
