If you are in the Wild there are animals that can take 2-3 magazines full of ammo.

These are sponges for bullets. For a bear you need 2 magazines full on a M416.

If after that you see a Montain Lion or another bear you are dead.
Not to mention overpowered Turkey who can kill you with few bites ant take whole magazine to bring it down

I'm playing on easy, and even then I find the predatory animals take way too many shots to bring down. For a bear, it's about one magazine from the assault rifle. I can't even imagine how bad it must be on the higher difficulty levels.

Also, I don't think you can use headshots on the animals, at least it didn't work on the bears or mountain lions charging directly at me. It would be easier if we at least had a chance to bring them down with less shots if we aimed for the head.

These bullet sponge animals also break the game in some way, as the hunters you encounter in the woods never really manage to actually catch any prey, because they all get eaten by the wildlife themselves.

I mean, seriously, on almost all of the occasions where I wanted to buy or sell stuff at a hunter in the woods (when you get the green "gun" icon) on the map, on the way there, I heards screams, a few shots, and then found the poor guy getting chewed to death by some wild animal, so I couldn't sell my stuff there, it's just crazy.

Kind of defeats the purpose of having this beautiful world to explore.

lol you ain’t wrong mate 😂 it’s ridiculous i mean i could understand when your in range of them, but driving inside a vehicle specially the cult vehicle how do those guys know who’s driving 😂 it’s just lazy design. same as boomer nit being able to sit in the passenger seat of the car or trucks 🤦*♂️ or the fact that all enemy’s look the same. lazy design

This right here is the problem. The spawn rate, and animal damage is so high that it breaks half the gameplay systems of the game:
    - You can't talk to hunters because they get killed.
    - You can't speak to NPCs because they are attacked before you can reach them.
    - You can't save NPCs in need, because an enemy will attack and kill you in a couple of hits, before you can even reach them.

Exactly. The world is so beautiful, but I can't enjoy it. I don't feel like I'm having fun playing this game anymore. I'm just apprehensive all the time, afraid of not being able to do what I want to do because of an interfering npc. Far Cry is supposed to be about doing whatever you want, whenever you want. In Far Cry 5 you can't do that anymore, because the enemiy NPCs won't let you.

Dude, use your Ubisoft Club Points to redeem the car. Once you have that car go to a shop and pick it out, it's free, and drive that car around. Just hold the right trigger and go as fast as you can, the handling on the car is high enough to where you can still make tight turns, and you will just drive past all those people shooting at you. Problem solved!

This is exactly how I managed to avoid all those guys shooting at me. It works very well!

Also thank you to the Developers for making a really fast and good handling car free with Ubisoft Club Points! It is a fantastic reward! Especially to start out with!

Now I haven't played the game yet. So may end up eating my words, but.....

I like the sound of the cult being aggressive and going after you. If I could move around with little threat I'd find it really dull.

    Allow me to quote myself...

"Tedium is not difficulty or challenge".

Most devs seem to not know the difference.
