Make sure you have the correct folder

I got it to work after realizing that the EasyAntiCheat folder is a subfolder of the BIN folder. There is a different folder called EasyAntiCheat, but if it is not in the BIN folder, then it is the wrong one. Once I ran the exe it asked what game to repair, I ran it, and things are good now.

On a side note, it seemed to coincide with removing Dead by Daylight from my PC after Steam's free weekend. Maybe it removed it from all games instead of only it's own. Who knows. It works now.

I made it to this screen, but it displays the error copy failed with 32

None of these steps worked for me, so i went to the EasyAntiCheat website and was a ble to fix it by downloading the x86 version when it accidentally installed the x64 version. i believe this was why this started working, because before that, i followed the steps and some 32 thing was missing.

    First go to steam
Next right click far cry 5
Then click properties, then local files.
    Next browse local files.
Then double click on your bin folder
Then double click on your easy anti cheat
There should be a application called easyanticheat_setup
Double click on that and he told me that it did a brief update and he was able to launch far cry 5.

I hope that this helps you guys!
    Thanks! Worked perfectly!

Having the Same problem here. Tried EVERYTHING. Going on 8 hours now.. Tried disabling startup programs. Reinstalled game and drivers at least 10 times. Deleted temp files. Deleted and renamed cache. Ran in Admin both Uplay and Far Cry 5. Tried older driver versions. The game use to work for me so I know it's not my computer. I wish there was a way to download an older patch. Any more ideas?
