Seriously, Ubisoft doesn't care about us, they are currently counting their money because after serveral "update", still no patch for this bug known from the release.
I've made a ticket, just like they asked and their answer is this:
5 days later, they've contact me again saying they are closing my ticket because they assume my issue was resolve.Thank you for contacting Ubisoft Customer Support.
I sincerely apologize for the delayed response. We have been extremely busy as of late and are working to answer all of the support cases that are coming in.
We appreciate you reporting this issue. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
This issue has been forwarded up to the development team for further review.
If any additional information becomes available, it will be posted to the game's official forum at http://forums.ubi.com and our Support Website (http://support.ubi.com).
Reards,
Ubisoft Support
I'm getting myself a refund, and you guys should all find a way to do the same.
I had an update on my support ticket.
As the suggested steps didn't work out as hoped; they asked for the video recording.
So I had to create a YouTube thing to get it uploaded.
As YouTube only supports vid's - I had to create a google drive as well to be able to provide the save game.
Would have been so much easier if there is an sFTP server - where you can write to in case you create a support ticket (password generator having a +20 Char strong password).
Once the case has been closed the data can either be archived or destroyed.
Sweet...
But, at least I get the impression they are working/investigating the issue.
Cheers/
I have tried various approaches to get the missions to show the option to track or untracked. However when you do get it to work, which is more incidental than a workaround, if you fast travel or die it resets back to the same issue. I have spent too much time trying to work around this so have decided as Ubisoft are struggling to either replicate or fix or both, then it goes back in the case and is deleted from PS4. I will be seriously considering if I buy another Ubisoft game after this and will spend my time playing a game which does not have game limiting bugs with no future fixes.
@telrog pitty to hear you've deleted the game; on the other hand - it is something that should be addressed by support and most importantly the dev team.
My latest update on the support case I logged, was the following:
*****
Ticket has been escalated to dev team; they are delving into it and it is a problem being reported by multiple users.
At the moment there is no fix/solution available; but they are looking into it.
And then they provided a link to the UBI forum.
*****
So; guess we'll have to wait for another update...
Gives me more time to play Destiny 2.
@Washi Yes both Support and Dev should have been over this a lot earlier however I removed the game to stop the temption to self resolve and keep trying to fix issue from repetitive attempts and approaches.
Totally agree on spending time and energy playing another game whilst they tried to find a fix which I sure they will. However not sure I will be as enthusiastic to go back to Far Cry 5 as I was.
Have fun with Destiny 2 great game
I had this same issue on Xbox One for two weeks.
Today it fixed itself and was finally able to complete it. For me I went ahead and finished all the bobble head, shrine, lighter, magazine, etc side missions. Once I finished all the collectibles, a new mission came up for Guy Marvel to help him film a segment. It is located at the Radon Mine.
After I completed that the Death Wish mission properly reset and the truck spawned at the gas station again.
Well, as it turns out; after 4 days of no reaction your ticket gets closed.
Seems to me that such an approach is perhaps not the best one.
I can not provide an update - I am the one waiting from an update from Ubisoft (either that they have found the source of our annoyance and were able to reproduce the problem themselves with al the steps that have been provided by all other users being confronted) or a decent patch.
So closing a ticket because you failed to get an update is a wrong action - as all the actions are currently at Ubi's side.
