In terms of the one joining a friend, have you both finished the intro up to turning on the radio tower? You need to do this before you can start playing Co-Op.

Are you loading a previous save or trying to start a new game? If you haven't already, please try power cycling the console. You can do this by turning off the console, unplugging it, waiting a minute, plugging it back in and turning it on again.

No, I am trying to play the game for the first time and it hasn't worked. I've done a power cycle with the PS4, reinstalled the game, checked for the latest ps4 update, I thought maybe Snowshoe was the error code for internet connection problems and even unplugged my ethernet cable from my PS4 just for good measure. I was looking around for anything that would help till about midnight EST yesterday. I appreciate any help I can get. I also made a thread as well.
EDIT: I also rebuilt the database and intialized the ps4 and still no luck. Still sits on the loading screen with Joseph Seed's back to you with the same quotes and helpful tips. I even made a support ticket with ubisoft yesterday over 24 hours and no response just like my previous thread post before this thread was made.
I've had a support ticket open since Tuesday about this and they haven't replied back and every time I get a status update they go we are looking into it, and say contact us in 48 hours. So has anyone figured out the fix for this? So far support has blatantly ignored my forum post and my support ticket for the past week and a half with no responses besides we will look into it. I feel like I basically wasted $60 on a game that i can only use the main menu. I have legitemately not been able to play this game since launch. Let alone even start the main campagin. Its starting to become aggrivating as everyone else can play this but I can't and the Support team refuses to even reply or check in.

You can transfer your save data to a USB storage device and retrieve the file from there: http://manuals.playstation.net/docum.../data_usb.html
You'll need to place it in a zip folder before sending it to us as the format is not supported otherwise.
