    Game Wont Start

The game doesn't allow me to start the game. After selecting 'Start New Game' and selecting one of the characters in a green shirt (gender select). After that the game will load for 8 to 10 minutes then the game will throw one of two errors Snowshoe-100D8569(Error has occurred, you have been returned to the main menu.) or Trapper-B2FE5BAD(The operation has took longer than expected, please try again you have been returned to the main menu.) Nothing else works either, Arcade says to play the single player. I've restarted the game after installing it with the preorder, reinstalled the game, restarted the system, and even checked to see if Playstation need to be updated but I'm to date. For the past 6 hours, I have been searching to see if anyone else is having this problem, friends, forums, previous Far Cry games, etc. Although I have found nothing, I put a ticket into support no answer.

So after 48 hours after the game's release, I have done the following I also did a power cycle with the PS4, rebuilt the database, and initialized the ps4 and still no luck. Still sits on the loading screen with Joseph Seed's back to you with the same quotes and helpful tips. Over 24 hours since I posted the support ticket and about 10 hours of troubleshooting still on the same page as I started. Just the same error and havent even started playing an aspect of the game.

I have exactly the same problem, although I am on PC (Windows 10 64 bits).

    Please help us.

I have the same issue as you on my PS4. So far support has blown me off for the past week and a half and its starting to be annoying. I feel like I have wasted my money, I basically paid $60 for a game that I can only use the main menu and nothing more. Support told me to contact them 48 hours late I did and now I waited another 72 hours before I contacted them again. Still no reply.

Hey ShadowNick3, they have passed your issue to our team and will update you when we get one. If you are having this issue on PC, please post to the PC forums, as your issue is probably caused by something different. Thank you.

I mean hopefully, I get a solution soon from Ubisoft, I initialized the PS4 again and still no luck. Now it's been 2 weeks since the launch of the game and still have only been able to use the main menu. They asked me to upload the save file in which I did but they havent found a solution yet.

Tell me, have you tried disabling Network on the PS4 settings and starting the game offline? It might be a weird issue where the game is trying to establish an internet connection.
