No way to force ai to drive atv's unless there already driving | Forums

I was able to get an ai friend for hire to drive an atv by letting them hop on, then hiring them, then hopping on the back and setting waypoints, it was a pretty dope ride. Im unable to do this again, is there anyway to force ai to get in a vehicle driver seat?

Just aim at the atv and order them to go to it. There. Now u can ride behind and shoot.

Nope, Can't order friends for hire to get in a atv, In vehicles you can get in the passenger seat and tell them to follow, but for the atv they just stand beside the atv when trying to order them to drive . Guess that was a one time deal. Should really fix that and make it possible to order them in a car

Yeah, it sucks. I've even killed Boomer once since he wouldn't get in the back of the truck and instead just chased after me: he ran under the truck -- roadkill!

Yeah I did the same lol i got in the ol' pickup hoping boomer would jump in the back, nopee... so i just drove off. I did find for the atv though sometimes your able to "glitch" yourself onto the back by going and looking at the rear fender and being at the back. As soon as the animation starts of you getting on, start button mashing, sometimes you'll actually get to the back seat with noone on. Tried to find a pattern to this but it seems like it's pretty random when it does happen.
