Playing on hard and turned off all the indicators I can. I did hear on a review the AI was pretty dumb, but my experience so far would prove this to be true.
Friendlies can’t drive or take cover when in trouble. Enemies run around like headless chickens or congregate on odd locations. For an open world game focused on AI enemy combat, it feels like no effort was put into this important element.
Anybody else getting this?

Given the other games mentioned are not using the same game engine as FC3/4/5, I'd think there's only so much that can be done involving the AI in this series.
So if the AI appears to be acting vasty different then in 3 or 4 that implies changes by Ubisoft versus simply the AI mechanics are better in the other games.
If one wishes to rely on the basic game story line for reaction to what's been encountered, the enemy AI are not even soldiers to begin with ...
I dont know what most people mean when they ask where the AI is!!!
For me at least seems the enemys can see me from miles away and the endless spawning of enemys seem to be a problem for me.
Really... I cant drive 2min without someone shooting at me or trying to ram my vehicle. If you go out to shoot the enemys there seem to be endless waves coming for you.
This bothers me the most in this game.
I wrote this in a thread yesterday afternoon.
"Have played about 6 hours now and since leaving Dutch's island, the public, resistance and Cult drivers have been displaying some unusual behaviours. It would seem that Hope County and perhaps all of America have quite a relaxed attititude towards driving into obstacles and generally running over anything that happens to get in the way. I have noticed that when roads are blocked by an accident, public drivers have been getting into some considerable difficulties, finding routes around the obstacles. Some have ended up repeatedly just driving into roadside rocks in the hope that maybe the rocks will just go away if you they hit them enough.
Loving the game but feeling slightly concerned about the general level of chaos that seems to reign whenever I attempt to use the roads as a means of getting from A to B. Have decided going off-road tends to be a little less stressful."
I also tried getting in one of the Cult's vehicles in an effort to blend in and this made no difference.
There definitely seems to be way too many cult AI vehicles per square mile. Don't know about getting attacked every two minutes! For me it seemed like every 15-20 seconds!
Honestly Ubisoft, this could be a game breaker for me along with the childish helicopter and fixed wing aircraft controls and flight model.
In case it hasn't become clear by now, once spotted, you're on the AI's "radar screen" unless they are scripted for another task, such as those tanker drivers. Also once you pull that trigger, you're "tagged" and spawning takes place, dependent on the noise radius of your weapon.Originally Posted by JohnnyBigodes_ Go to original post
