    Vehicle Mobility

My big question is, am I the only one having issues moving forward in any vehicle at slow speed. When I put the auto drive on, the vehicle moves pretty good. But when I do the the accelerating myself it does not going any faster than when I am walking. Reverse works fine but forward what is the problem?

    Hello boneheade6,

Thank you for reporting this to us.

We've had some reports of this happening with controllers that might have issues with the shoulder buttons, but if you've tried another controller that may not be the issue.

If you haven't already, please try the power cycle and rebuild database options from the troubleshooting here.

    Thank you

I’m having the same issue. The mission I’m on I have to follow a heli and on foot isn’t going to work. All vehicles don’t move forward and auto drive wants to take every road that leads away from the mission.

Ok so I have figured out a work around. In the control settings turn on buttons flipped on the cars. So the issue has to do with the R2 button. But while posting this I found that flipping buttons in one catagory flips it for all categories. So the bug could be part of the entire controls settings

Same issue with slow moving vehicles

I have two controllers, I noticed the issue occurring so I switched controllers and it worked fine with my other one. However , the controller I originally used works just fine with other games whether shooting or driving. Is this an issue within the game itself, I would like to know if I need to fix/ replace this controller or wait for an update.

    Ubi-Holz,

I did some testing and I am now 100% convinced that this is due to sensitivity settings for L2 / R2 Bumpers which can't be adjusted in-game. (The Ghost Recon: Wildlands development team had the exact same issue but never fixed it, Kingdom Come: Deliverance dev team also has this identical issue).

In addition to driving, L2 Sidearm Takedowns likewise can't be activated either with worn controllers.

Recommended Solution: Adjust the Sensitivity Options for L2 / R2 bumpers for Far Cry 5. You'll need to use a worn controller to establish this baseline. It would be Value Added to have these available to be adjusted in-game via settings as well.

    Same thing here

I came to this forum hoping I wasnt alone.. It takes a really long while for the vehicule to finally move forward... unlike when you go backwards in which case the vehicule reacts quickly (as per any other farcry game).

By the way,, i went back a started Farcry 4 (still had it installed) and the vehicules work just fine with the R2 button on my controller... so this is definitely something that has to do with the game code.

    Hope this helps.
