So I wanted to play Assassin's Creed Origins again because I had to remove it from my PS4 the last time because I bought a new game and now I have enough storage so I decided to reinstall Origins on my PS4 and well... It won't allow me.
For some reason it wants me to download a 12GB patch and I can't skip that and play the game and halfway through the downloading it just stops... For some reason and when it doesn't download a patch it just won't allow me to play the game and it shows a pause thing on my game like II the pause symbole you see when you put a movie in your DVD player. I don't know what to do and need help.
Thank you!
(Also I have 100GB free on my PS4 so that can't be the problem)
Edit: And even when I download it IT won't install and I still can't play it
Sorry to hear you're having issues installing Origins!
Have you tried rebuilding the database on your PS4 to see if that helps?
1. Turn the PlayStation 4 completely off.
2. Once the PlayStation 4 is off, press and hold the power button. Release it after you've heard two beeps: one when you initially press, and another 7 seconds later.
3. Connect the DualShock 4 controller with the provided USB cable and press the PS button on the controller.
4. Rebuild Database.
Question if I do that will I lose any save files or other game progresses?Originally Posted by Ubi-Rufus Go to original post

I Just bought the game and I'm having the same problem...
The game installs to the latest Version, and starts running. When I press New game, It starts loading But then It gets stuck and tells me that that the data is corrupted and that I should remove and re intall It again...
I already done that (rebuild data bases) and still doesnt work.
I also remove the game and downloaded/installed It for about 3 times...
And also renewed all the licenses...
Whats else can be done to solve this situation?
Best regards

We are only able to offer English support on this forum, would that be possible? Alternatively we have German support here.
There are no known installation issues with AC Origins currently, however this is a PlayStation error therefore I recommend following their troubleshooting here.
All the best!
