How do the achievements work in co-op?

Does only the Host unlock the achievements?

I see quite a few that say "Solo campaign", will those unlock for the Host during the co-op playthrough?

Need to know how my friend and I can play the entire game in co-op and then get all the achievements as well, doing the least possible repeat solo playthroughs between the two of us.

Any information and tips is appreciated.

I played coop last night with my friend as the host and I still was gaining perk points. So I assume achievements still work.

The achievements specifically say when they can only be completed Solo. ( At least on PC. ) Most can be done coop, but not all. As far as I can tell, it's exactly the ones you would expect: Since you do not get progress for main missions as the second player, those are the ones requiring solo.

I have a number of achievements from when I was the second person, so at least those ones are working in coop.

In fact, at least 1 specifically REQUIRES coop: "Play 3 quests with a friend (Campaign only)."
