having the same issue as you bought the game a couple of days ago and i haven't even been able to go into the campaign without a crash, i think it does have something to do with uplay because all of a sudden rainbow 6 siege started crashing as well

deleting the cache folder located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache

and the game works :-)

Thank you! Been trying to read forums and tried uninstalling/reinstalling and couldnt get it to work until today (been trying for 2-3 weeks now, something with the last update screwed mine up, but division and the others played just fine, just not GRW. so thanks
