Game wont launch after latest update.

so i got a issue where the game wont launch at all since the latest patch, tried mostly anything i can come up with to get it working.

    1.verify file integrity
    2. make sure all drivers and windows is up-to-date
3.reboot pc incase issue loading from ram
    4.reinstall the redist (directx+vc++)
    5. running application and game as admin

so far no difference, i get to little splash screen saying it is syncing save data and then it just vanishes.

    any answer would be nice.

I'm so sick of this now!

Before I installed the latest update, I had played this game for over 6 months without any problems. I love this game. After the update, it has been impossible to start this game.

I've been following this thread for a long time and tried to make all the suggestions you came with. Update all drivers (graphics, windows, directx etc), delete the cache folder, started as administrator and now tonight, i chose to uninstall this game for the 2nd time and install on a new hard drive. After 5 hours, I finally had to test if it worked but no. Same **** as usual. Crashes all the time. I'm thinking of buying a console where hopefully similar crap does not happen.

If you are still experiencing this after clearing cache, please try uninstalling and reinstalling Uplay.

    Hey,

I try to get not emotional, but what is this????

I bought the game 2 days ago via Steam Week-End Sale. I downloaded and installed the small amount of around 60 GB and I was excited to start the first coop-missions with my friends... - After starting the game --> short freeze @ epilepsy-warning and crash to desktop. At this evening I started a 5 hours troubleshooting to fix it. I tried every hint from ubisoft-support-forum, from youtube, from steam-discussions... nothing helped. Till now I have aprrox. 40 min. of game-time at steam - accumulated only with starting and crashing the game. This game is broken - is there a unwritten rule which commit me to do your work - to troubleshoot?

I contacted the support, 1,5 days ago and the only answer is "... high amount of requests..." really? This is your standard-performance? I have a lot of games... lot of good and high performance games. And NO other game makes such problems. I know it's difficult to cover all system combination out there, but you've got MY MONEY for the game. I want the product as every developer is giving to me.

You have my specs via support ticket.... fix it or I want to get my money back.

    Here are my troubleshooting actions:
    • Deleted Cache folder when steam and uplay are offline (checked via task manager)
    • uninstalled and reinstalled uplay
    • installed latest nVidia driver
    • installed latest Windows 10 update
    • installed latest sound card driver
    • deactivated anti-virus and firewalls for short testing
    • started game via compatibility mode (windows 7 and 8)
    • started GRW.exe and rungame.exe via administrator
    • deinstalled PhysX and Experience-Driver of GPU driver
    • started game with start-condition "-windowed"
    • checked VCRedist for latest version
    • checked integrity of game data via steam (multiple times)

Do your job please...I'm not your beta-client.

    Thanks! ;-)
