I am 100% in for for leaving it. If you're playing then pay attention, you being away ruins the game for others.

Sure, it takes 3 hits to kill you and losing the node , How long do you thing does that take? if you're boosting you just lost 118 points and that could determine win or loss

You're using an example outside of the conditions I stated.

We've passed the feedback regarding the timer over to the team. We'll look at how it's impacting the gameplay and if any changes are being made we'll let you know here. Right now, the shorter time has been needed to deal with AFK farming, but we're always looking at ways to improve that.
