The real problem with them is their back dodge recovery in oos, other than that, the main problem is with certain assasins and certain non-assasins. One of the weakest characters, the orochi, is an assasin for example, and the shinobi is quite mediocre too, a kensei is probably far stronger than any of them.
Kensei is not an assassin, But i think it would work best if the game matching allowed 1 of each class, so 1 vanguard, 1 heavy, 1 assassin etc then things would be rather fair. You get into a game with 4 shinobis, or 4 zerkers or 4 PK's and it's a gg right from the stat..if you get into a game with 4 kensei then don;t even bother at all.Originally Posted by RolandVermund Go to original post
Kensei is a vanguard, but he is far stronger than the orochi. The centurion is stronger too than the orochi, and a warden or a conq is stronger too. Some of them are quite weak. The assasins' main strenght in general is their dodge speed and range, and it's unfair in out of stamina to dodge away from danger while recovering. It should be nerfed for all of them. The pk needs a rework (with her zone changed), the glad is the same, and the berserker might have too much hyperarmor for his speed and damage.
4 pk is a very bad team in dominion. They are probably the worst for clearing minions, they lack any unblockable (in ganks, the ones coming from the sides can be blocked quite easily), and they are really bad against multiple opponents. 4 from anything is probably not a good team, they are lacking in something as a team. Except four lawbringers with all the bombs.
Why people on this forum think Orochi are weak? I played him 50% time during S3 and touched him again week ago. And he feels just fine. Can destroy anyone, even have a strong chance against Bers. On the other side, Warden feels a little...nerfed. And Cent sometimes too.The centurion is stronger too than the orochi
The orochi's side dodge and forward dodge attacks are quite slow light attacks, and that means it's a free heavy on parry. His top lights were nerfed, his side lights and side heavies are useless, His storm rush is basically useless, everyone learned to parry it since day one. The riptide strike got a damage buff, but it's only guaranteed on a missed heavy (and some heavy still tracks the orochi during the back step). His zone is slower than the other assasins'. His damage is mediocre, and he has no unblockables. While he is not useless and can win any matchup just like every other hero, he is still weak. The centurion at least takes off half of the opponents health on succesful combos and wallthrows, but he is weak too.
In regards to back dodging, the team is actually working on a global back dodging rule to potentially eliminate those instances where back dodge is being abused during a fight. No update on when it might be coming, but we'll be sure to get any new details along to players as they become available.Originally Posted by RolandVermund Go to original post
Fine I'll just go into storm rush, cancel and rinse and repeat lol. Unless your back Dodge hurts one of my core abilities which a lot of the global changes doOriginally Posted by UbiJurassic Go to original post
