Almost Purchased For Honor because of the Sale But.....

I also noticed that For Honor had Always Online Requirement for single player.
Just like Assassin's Creed 2... except I don't think there is a crack with For Honor.
I would pay extra for offline single player content.

However, in addition, I decided to not buy the game at all.

The perceived value of the game is much lower to me because of the "always online". The For Honor Sale wasn't low enough to warrant buying a game with that restriction.

I did buy Assassin's Creed 2 at such a low cost that I didn't really care about the restriction. However, Ubisoft did remove the always online restriction from that game years later.

    Thanks for that moment.

The single player isn't even good, buying the game for the single-player is like buying a full meal but only eating the side dish.

And if you don't have PS plus, why do you even have a PlayStation? Games are migrating to online content only

The reason for the always online requirement is because some elements of progression, which is hosted online, are shared across story and multiplayer modes.
