Considering how popular Lex is during a GE this might be as tired as another "cheating in the DZ" thread, but I couldn't find a mention of it on here.
Anyway, there's certainly no shortage of bugs in this game, but I have to say it comes across as either downright lazy or a real lack of foresight with some of the hilarious script bugs that come up when you get good enough at the missions.
Example: in the final showdown of Lex shock Larae just as she comes out of that door near the bottom of the stairs. She screams bloody heck at the exact same time she's spouting her threats at you. How someone can be taunting and screaming in pain simultaneously is beyond me.
Of course I'm sure we've all done the "rush Larae" thing where you kill her almost immediately after she exits the door, and she starts yelling her "we're a river and we're gonna drown you!" bit as she lays dead, face down on the floor at my feet. Too funny. C'mon devs, it can't be that hard to doa simple "IF, THEN" in the script!
IF DEAD, THEN END ALL VOICE SCRIPTS
ELSE, CONTINUE VERBAL TAUNTS
(Of course that's an over simplification... :-)
On another note: I finished a classy Tac build, rolled it to skill and electronics, and wow! 585k skill power with the 60% buff? My seekers clear entire rooms.
Now if only Massive would fix the buff erase on lifts bug...

Sticky bomb her and the two heavies at the beginning. The rant plays and then the mission just stops. You have to suicide to restart the checkpoint.Originally Posted by Rroff Go to original post
Whoa, haven't seen that combo before. Like I said, a real lack of foresight. No one even considered these possibilities when scripting the missions.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
Admittedly I still chuckle to myself every time I do a Rikers mission and upon killing one hear his teammate saying "Goddammit, he's dead!" or "Nailed him!"Originally Posted by Zathras23 Go to original post
I mean, the thought of someone responding to the death of a friend with either of those shouts cracks me up.
