LZ Boss farming, drop rate of CS armour half what it should be.

Can't wait for change to the CS armour debacle as it is at the moment.
Completed 9 rounds of the 15 LZ bosses for a total of 135 kills and armour drops, at the stated drop rate of 3% I should have 4 pieces, I have only 2, 2 CS armour pieces in 135 kills, SERIOUSLY.
I purchased 14 caches, 5 had no CS armour,4 just GS armour pieces, the 5th one had no CS armour but 2 exotics, a Pakhan and a Golden Rhino, the stats of both are horrible and the type of weapons make them unusable.
The remaining had nearly all repeats, not just a 2nd one but the fourth and fifth copy, so I got only 2 new pieces from $20,250 GE credits, both of them for minor sets that I won't use but nevertheless they are new pieces.
From random luck I got 2 pieces today, from a proficiency award I got a bonus CS armour piece, the missing 6th piece, a Predators Mark Holster with decent stats.
I was so peaked at my poor returns I went and did some Div tech farming, which because most are busy with the GE event it was superb farming, then I decided to go hunting DZ bosses hoping to get a Big Alejandro, no luck with the exotic weapon, but Claxton in DZ 6 underground dropped a CS piece, the 6th missing piece from my Lone Star armour, a Lone Star Holster, stats are ordinary but it is a complete set.
Put in a big effort, got practically nothing, but from dumb random luck, RNG?, got the same number of CS pieces but really crucial pieces to complete 2 sets.
Fix the crap, deliver what you say, a drop rate of 3% should be exactly that, will your stated drop rate change coming up at a stated 6%, really only be 3% or less.
Treat your agents and customers with professionalism delivering on what you state you will do.

Not sure what you're looking for man? If your looking for Classifieds probably the best way to get them is Resistance farming, outside of the GE. During the GE I wouldn't purchase more than 2-3 at a time and spread out your purchases over a few hours. Buy 3, open, come back in an hour, The algorithm will screw you over if you buy them in a large block like that. I'm sure its a low key way of preventing serious farmers from getting everything quickly while allowing casual players to still get items. I opened 3 last night and got 4 classified items. From my experience its about a 50/50 drop in general, averaging about one Classy per cache. 1.8.1 will fix most of the Div tech issues and the new Classy drops will be nice. For what its worth the open world bosses are a decent way to get classys I usually get 1-2 per full clear. If you're looking for the Big Al you need to be clearing Legendarys and doing weeklys. With a good Tactician build you can solo all three legendary missions, at about 20-30 min a pop. Create 4 characters and you have 12 exotics a week just from legendarys. Hope this helps. Happy farming Agent.

during the GE the fastest way to get classy gear is grind the GE missions on challenging for 750 GE plus what bosses drop at hudson. it's 850 plus per run within 9 minutes at Hudson. If you want classy gear, you should be doing nothing but this right now in the midst of GE classy month.

You seem to misunderstand the system.

A three percent drop rate does not guarantee that you are going to get drops equalling 3% of whatever caches you open, ie open 100 and guaranteed to get 3.

You have a three percent chance EVERY single time you kill a boss/open a cache.

That chance resets after every kill.

It’s not cumulative, ie kill 97 with no success and sit back with a huge grin on your dial, knowing that there’s a guaranteed 3 classified drops coming up. No, does not work like that.

They need to expand the RNG on the weapon/armor rolls and make Classified gear drop a lot more often from all activities. It's 99.9% junk as it is and it never drops.

I'm confused as to why they couldn't have at least taken the exotics from the vendor out of the cache table. we've been asking for that for how long?

The figure of 3% was taken from an Ubisoft chat posted on YouTube as the expected rate of CS gear dropping from killing Bosses. You do not then expect a return about half of that.
My maths says a 3% drop is one drop in 33 events, that is the expected average repetition of an event, if it turns out to be less then the statistic of a 3% chance, then the statistic is erroneous. 3% means 1 in 33 probability, so, 2 in 66, 3 in 99 or 100. So from 135 events at a rate of 1 in 33, I should expect 4 drops in 132, that does not equal 2 I got in 135 events. If the return is less than 4 in 135, the rate of drop is much less than 3%, so this is a problem.
It was also the number of empty caches, 4 from 12 that had only GS armour and a fifth with 2 useless exotics.
So, from 12 caches purchased in small lots over time as I earned GE credits, so it was not a big bulk purchase, I got 8 pieces, 6 were multiple repeats of what I had, the only double CS cache I got was a double repeat of a Reclaimer vest I already had. Brilliant, a double pack of CS armour, but hang on, I have this piece and it is 2 of exactly the same item. Really!.
What was the icing on the cake for the problem with the drop rate was the fact that by sheer random luck, I got the same result as 12 caches containing 24 pieces of armour from 135 events with a bonus extra from a proficiency cache and then a random drop from a DZ boss of 2 CS items needed to complete 2 sets in Predators Mark and Lone Star.
I don't want things delivered on a plate but I do expect some kind of return for hours of effort. Particularly as the collection is vast and the armour then needs to be optimized, another ridiculous grind event that takes so many hours to complete for one set, with however many you are collecting to go.

It's not even hard but it seems so for massive, just increase the drop rates quite a bit and make the RNG on the items themselves a lot wider. That way you can find what you're looking for and you can spend a lot of time min/maxing and feeling like you're progressing. As some say, it isn't rocket surgery LMAO

As Geico Says..So easy a ****ing caveman could do it!

Another way to say it is you might not see another classy drop in another 100 kills. That's this games RNG.
