    Hey dasselanis, thank you for sharing your additional workaround / solution! I'm glad to hear that you were able to get the game to launch again.

    Should anyone continue to encounter issues like this, please do give the aforementioned steps of clearing your Uplay PC cache and, if persisting, reinstalling Uplay PC a try!

    idk what i can do about it
    when uplay starts launching it, it stops and i don't even receive an error message, it just stops launching the game...wtf

    I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.

    Can you please try these PC troubleshooting steps.

    If the issue persists, could you please submit a support ticket and attach your system files (dxdiag and msinfo) and our Customer Support team will investigate this further for you.

    Game still won't launch

    I have tried everything. Everything you people have instructed to do to fix this and I still wasn't able to start the game. When I click on the play button I have my Uplay window starting synchronizing with the cloud starting the game and then a yellow triangle appears on the left bottom side of the window for less than a second before closing and stoping the game.
    Help, please.

    App?

    App? Why do you need an App? I signed up for Uplay and when I try to play a game it punts me to the App Store to get an App that the App Store says doesn't even exist. And when I look up the GAMES I OWN. It won't let me f'n play them. WTF???

    Found it!

    All, I have been dealing with this trash launcher for quite some time. I have had this no launching issue since day one of Division 2. Recently, I started to want the need to play other games that happen to be on Uplay. If the game stalls during startup open your Task Manager and close the Easy AntiCheat service. This caused my game to start right up and the Easy Cheat immediately restarted and the game was fully functional. By the way, clearing cache does nothing for me, reinstall with fresh download does nothing for me. If this is happening to you give this a shot it works 90% of the time. If it doesn't work, restart the machine and try the Easy AntiCheat process kill again.

    Thank you for providing that workaround, Horkified, although we're sorry to hear you've encountered such issues with the Uplay launcher.

    Do you have any Firewall or Anti-Virus software? Anything that might be blocking or interfering with EasyAntiCheat? As it seems that is the cause of your startup issues it may be that the client is having a failed interaction with something else running on the PC.

    it still won't launch

    I tried everything. I reinstalled both uplay and the game itself (Rainbow Six Siege) and it just won't start. EasyAntiCheat doesn't seem to start either so I cant shut that down. I'm running out of options and just find it ******g weird that I was able to play the game on this PC and account for over a year and it just decided to stop working. Help me Ubisoft support staff, you're my only hope.
