    soft fient to guard break.

There is another thread talking about why is there tracking in this game on some moves and that it makes it feel arcade like. I really think that he is right and that moves that track should not be in a skill based game or at the very least very rare.

That brings me to the point of this thread. I tried playing shaman and I have to say it actually kinda annoyed me how easy it is to go heavy attack straight to guard break rather then hitting the circle button to cancel like my Orochi.

The complication of the game is what makes it fun to me but they seem to make moves that have better results with less complication. I was just curious if anyone else felt the same?

I wish every hero had soft feint into GB on one move. soft feints are much better for mind games where as hard feints are only situationally helpful depending on the hero.

I feel the same when I play Shaman, I'm almost embarrased how easy it is to land a GB from the soft feint.

Given how hard GBs are to come by now after the parry changes. Heroes with soft feint GB have an edge in that matter.

Shamans soft feint into GB only lands on overly panicky people. The unblockable is very slow and super telegraphed. Literally anyone could spend a day fighting nothing but shaman (and really focusing) and get used to the animation. Further more all heros sans 3 can avoid that mix up entirely just by blocking whatever she throws to get into the unblockable mix up and then back dodging. You get put out of range for either the unblockable or the soft feint.

Pk's is from a heavy. and not just any heavy. But only a raw heavy. You can turtle and beat both options.

Centurions is the only some what easy ish one to read. and nearly everyone escapes after the first time. (in my very many hours of centurion experince since season 2.)

It's not really strong. it's decent.

True, but she doesn't need to go into the UB to soft feint the heavy. Attempting to parry someone who has a soft feint in their kit is also risky. If you get GB:en you're out of luck.

With hard feints you at least have a theoretical chance to cancel your heavy and counter the GB.

No reason for someone to attempt her normal heavy into soft feinted GB imo. there is no threat of an UB in that case so waiting to block it or tech the soft feinted GB is easy.
I was referring to parrying her UB.
