If they reworked a character they should have reworked every character. Simple as that. Good gracious! If they want to keep berserker that way then give my aramusha unblockables on heavy finisher and hyper armor on my chains. Plus give him dodge attacks to balance him when fighting a berserker or kensei.
    Uhh... parry him?

But, I do agree that HA on light attacks is ridiculous for any class.

Also, people forget he ALWAYS had hyper armor on dance of the paired blade lights. It was just harder to get to. And literally if you block a berserker light, he loses a quarter of his stamina.

Can someone please explain to me what hyper armor on lights does because I've never ever had any type of issue with it. Someone enlighten me of this nonsense.

I'm a berserker main and I have no problem if you remove my hyper armor on lights because it doesn't do anything. Since the start of season 5 I've traded damage with someone with my light MAYBE 3 times and I play for Honor every single day for several hours.

Berserker also has the worst unblockable of all time. 30 damage? Really?

    Kensei top unblockable. 45

    Shaman unblockable. 50

Gladiator unblockable. Depends of you do the bleed or wall splat. But more than berserker

Lawbringer unblockable. 45 and a stun

Raider unblockable. 28 from neutral. 50 from combo.

Hell the warden crushing counter do 40

Highlander unblockable. 40. His crushing counter does 30

Centurion unblockable is 25 with I believe either 35 or 40 with the cinematic jump stab for a total of 60+

And the bserker unblockable takes forever to cancel. You can't even cancel into guard break. If the enemy tried to parry and you cancelled into guard break, you're gonna eat a top heavy. And it has almost 0 tracking. You have to cancel into a light or another heavy. And his lights don't even do that much damage. For a berserker to kill you with lights, he would have to hit you with almost 10 for some characters whereas he can be killed in 3 hits by other.

I volunteer to go into practice mode with anyone and teach you how easy it is to counter berserker with whatever character you use.

As for the post above me, berserkers having hyper armor makes sense in a lore perspective. Berserkers go into battle with a battle rage and without regard for their own safety. They feel no pain. So you can cut them all you want but they will keep coming until either you're dead, or they are.

Then from a lore persective all knights shouldnt get any damage from heroes other then conq-LB-shugoki sinse they have armor on and only blunt heavy weapons can dent the armor.

I did explain to you why it's an annoying thing in a seperate thread which you never replied to. so i'll copy paste it here:

"It's the threat that he'll be able to continue the combo or continue to feint into obscene speed. It's virtually guaranteeing the zerk always gets in/does damage.
In essence it's not that what it does in itself that's super powerful. But what it stands for is.

As I've already mentioned i'm just not fond of it from a design perspective. I still reg hand zerks their axes (pun intended.) I just don't enjoy what he's become due to this one minor change and the lack of being able to cancel light recovery whiffs. everything else I love."

Pls dont argue like that... its little bit silly.

Zerk is assasin... he is fast, feint master... i have rly problem with his HA. Thats my only problem with him as slow Highlander main.
    Exactly...

HA should only be given to characters with charged attacks and only on those moves. Not on light infinite chains that are feintable. He is an assassin. If you wait on for his stamina he would just stop and regain his stamina. If yoy move closer then infinite chain again. Rinse and repeat.

Like for example, an orochi's main role is a counter attacker. So he had a charged deflect and light deflect., riptide strike and storm rush. Then, how can he do his role if his WHOLE kit can be nullified by just the HA of the berserker? So it means the orochi is completely useless against a berserker. What the orochi will just turtle? Not to mention not all berserker players know how to play him.

Bingo! A good zerk will beat a good orochi any day of the week. Most stupid thing they could of done was give out HA like it’s holloween candy.

If we were to go off of the logic that Berserker gets hyper armor because he's berserk, then Lawbro would have hyperarmor up at all times.
Berserker has a 38 top heavy unblockable, which is very similar to every other unblockable's damage, except you can chain it in with a dodge attack so it's just 2 hits for a crapload of damage.

Now, the problem with hyperarmor is not on the lights specifically, it's that he gets hyper armor from feinting, as well as getting off a free 400ms light attack while that hyper armor is up. That means that you have an insanely small window of opportunity to block that feinted light (which Berserker can do repeatedly) but cannot interrupt it. They either have to dodge back away from him (which defeats the purpose of actually fighting if you're in a duel setting), parry it on prediction (since only a very small pool of skilled people could possibly see it on reaction and hope they have a good connection), or hope they can keep correctly blocking until the Berserker runs out of stamina.
