Call me cynical if you like, but here's my predictions for the upcoming livestream:

- No new info of any value or note.
- Faction war imbalance dismissed as a joke.
- At least half the runtime dedicated to memes, jokes and unrelated filler.
- Chat gets spammed with "!Raffle" or "!Rewards".
- Stream hosts ignore questions in chat/only respond to benign questions that have no real bearing on anything.
- "Coming Soon!".
- Romain shows up and treats other hosts/players with barely concealed contempt.
- Multiple and repeated references to Reddit.
- Little to no references to the official forums.
- Replaying old videos for the 1000th time.
- "We can't talk about that."


Go on, Ubisoft. Prove me wrong.

But what should devs do, if there is nothing to talk about or show?
While they had some content, they could show you maps, gamemodes, new chars and weapons.
I really wonder what do they show us in trailer of season 6.

We are not even to the middle of Season 5 yet!

This game is finished if they only release three reworks for the entire season. It will make the whole thing a joke.

But they will. I left For Honor until 6 season, cause I believe we'll see nothing special about this season. Maybe they release new Tutorial, but Arena mode will wait for S6, I believe.
I think this game will be finished IF they will release three more reworks and some effects/retexture in start of season 6.
For understanding of game's state S6 have priority role. If no new content will be show up, community will understand that there are nothing new devs made while adding prerelease DLC whole last year.

We know that they aren't going to have any serious balance news or questions because Damien and Roman are still on convention duty,likely we will only have Eric or Eric and a few of the other team's members whether that be Bio or some of the art guys.

Which isn't to say there won't be news of some kind, just saying, don't set your hopes too high on a week we have been told to not expect much.

Can't see how it could be the problem to give us some news. If team keep work at the game after season 5 started there should be some news about what coming next.
But I believe that will be only effects, retextures and other cheap stuff like about month, than we'll hear about some fix for dedicated servers, that maybe help, but not sure and than we got end of the season.

If that's your belief, fair enough. I choose, based on the last year, to believe that if Eric says something is in the next patch it is there, the devs have mostly delivered when they said they would over the last year and when they have been late they have explained why.

Late with a lot of thing, I believe. It took whole season for them to nerf Centurion. And still he felt same OP in Dominion whole season 3. Well, I don't thinks devs did something wrong, maybe even try to fix everything and make For Honor better, but I barely thought about it after release, and think about it again, that Ubi bosses buried this game after bad launch. And other way I don't think monetization worked well, so without investments from company and used all DLC content now devs have not so mach to offer.And now if they spend whole year for reworks and fix dedicated servers, I don't think game have a 50% of current community.
Still, I took a break and really wait for season 6. It will show next step of dev team.

Skip a week, or even two untill they get enough content worth showing. I think its better than hour of padding.

I stop playing after TYM left as there isn't really anything fun to play. I stop by here occasionally to see when lag comp and Arena Mode come to fruition and as of right now no need to come back.

Sadly the only reworks in season 5 look like there are the ones we got. When I saw they were doing reworks of the original cast I thought, wrongly, it was all of them. The season 5 trailer says there are going to be "major updates to some Heroes" and "We are looking also at other characters, and maybe more in the future. " So even if lag comp comes and Arena Mode comes at the end of season 5 it will still be much of the same. Not even new maps or real game modes.

It is almost misleading showing the numerous texts on screen, season 5, ded servers, reworks, arena mode coming 2.15.2018. Sure if they get this in season 5 it is factual but waiting till 6-7 weeks into the season is a joke. The streams now are much of the same all fluff and wait its coming...
