A (potentially) simple fix to being afk kicked when boosting zone | Forums

First of all I am happy with what the devs have done with AFK, it's been an issue since day one, and I am not someone that has been kicked because I haven't bothered making an input but it is something I have seen come up a couple of times since the change for behaviour that is essentially playing the objective.

So I was wondering if in dominion, when someone is gaining renown as they do when boosting a held zone that stops the afk clock from ticking. Of course as soon as the enemy enters the zone they are in active combat and that clock starts, but if they are not afk then that is not something that is going to affect them.

We've seen a few similar comments about players being kicked while boosting a zone as well and we've made sure to address the team with the player concerns regrading it. Your idea definitely sounds like a good solution in theory and I'll be sure to pass it along to the team.
