    yep DZ still ****e

i know it's my fault, but after months not entering DZ at all,
yesterday after i got complete classified sets and quite optimized it, i enter DZ to test it.
i hunt the DZ PvE ing for more than half hour, and it's quite empty.
then DZ supply drops event launch, and i go to there, then wait nearby, looking around.
looking good no rogue scum around, i started the battle, and killed the Supply Drop guardian flawlessly.
tonly boss left, half hp, then BAM! i hear the rogue warning, and he shot my back, my survivor link trigger, i run for cover then i am dying.

i deserved all of that for entering DZ.
looks like i won't buying Division 2 any soon, because even after years of development, DZ is still they golden child, and i bet, they will always be on Division 2.

I expect PvP to be handled differently in TD2.
If not, they are truly deserving of any hate they get for it.

    *Insert Doubt Meme*

as i remember Division marketed as "really awesome pvpve late games Dark Zone no games ever had" (not exact quote, but you get the gist)
    Division is Dark Zone.
s0, i bet Division 2 will surely have Dark Zone, with or without same names, but surely with same flaw.

edit: trying to putting "doubt" meme, but failed miserably, like my life inside DZ

I don't understand why people complain about DZ after getting killed, Go back kill rogue or go rogue if that makes you feel better. It's pretty easy to avoid rogues if you know how to run in DZ

And you good sir are a LIAR!

The DZ on DAY ONE is how it was intended to be played, but to may "cry-babies" didn't like the SEVERE PENALTY and *****ed/moaned until it got changed.

On that Fifth/Sixth day after release the DZ became a POS, and to this day still is.

So, it IS NOT working as intended. It was changed to the DISLIKE of many many players who bailed the game after the first 5 days...

TD2 had better go back to the ORIGINAL DZ. If not I know a lot of players won't spend a dime on it...

In the DZ, what you will meet is mostly cowards and opportunist. The OP clearly said that he was clearing a supply drop but before took precaution to look around to spot any rogue player there was none. Then after killing almost all npc and fighting with the boss with half his HP remaining, someone went rogue on his back and took advantage of:

    1. the fact that the NPC was mainly focusing on him not the rogue
    2. he was left half HP and was shot in the back

This is cowardice not a true pvp.

I very often go rogue in the DZ and it is never in someone back. I stand right in front he knows what my intentions are.

No, what happened is it took about a week for people to realize that the "PvP" system was extremely slanted in the Rogues favor. Whoever shoots first wins, thus cheapshots and cowardice became the name of the game. "PvP" is more like gank and run. That's when the flies started to swarm to the stink. Some of the people I have encountered in the DZ are some of the worst bullies, cowards, and petty children I have ever seen. This over the course of dozens of games, going back to like 1996. (Yes i'm old) The DZ is severely punishing, but to the non-rogue, and most specifically the solo player. It hasn't been remotely punishing to go rogue since way back in like 1.2 when DZ rank meant something, and dying while rogue cost you an entire level.
