I don't think there's been a prone stance since Far Cry Instincts if I remember it correctly. Will there finally be possible to go prone in the franchise now?
I would absolutely love that, and it would significantly alter the way I would make multiplayer maps.
I'm really pumped about this game, if it's not in I really really hope it is something that could be added in at a later stage, even if it was only working in multiplayer.
From what I've heard Ubisoft did great with listening to the community and implementing sought after features post launch for other games. Watchdogs 2 got 4p coop, and siege got sought after updates as well. So I will remain optimistic.
I hope I'm not the only one who wish it will be in the game eventually
Absolutely there with you. Prone would be a great addition to the series. Wanted it for all of them. Would provide a great tactical advantage particularly if you’re playing a sniper build. Would love to see it added in during a future update.Originally Posted by Jaxru Go to original post
From what I understand there is no prone. Maybe in a future Far Cry game? We can only hope.Originally Posted by Kean_1 Go to original post
Does it not use the same engine as Wildlands? Also do we know if the AI is any good and not this instantly know where you are like Wildlands?Originally Posted by MikeWeeks Go to original post
It uses AnvilNext, an engine currently used for many Ubisoft games. Far Cry's Dunia is the intruder here.Originally Posted by Flaw3dGenius23 Go to original post
Good question, I would like to know the answer to this myself. And anyhow about the engine I'm sure they've updated it massively between each title anyways, and such a feature shouldn't be impossible to implement anyways. Considering there's crouch already and even a "smart-peeking" system. However if we keep harassing them about it perhaps it will finally be implemented at some point.Originally Posted by Flaw3dGenius23 Go to original post
After playing the game, there's no doubt that the ballistics system needs some more love too. Hopefully it will get a patch. That's at least a system already there that just needs tweaking.
The bullets just vanish after a certain range instead of dropping to the ground and slow down.
