A few suggestions for additional features in the PVP element of Ghost Recon Wildlands (Ghost War)
1) Shooting Range to test guns in Ghost War
-Option for static targets & moving targets
2) Gameplay option to capture points on the map
- with this option, there could be 3 - 5 points (A,B,C,D,E)
-One side of players start at point E, one start at A
-Objective would be for players to capture the point, once one point is captured, the next is available to capture
-To capture a point more players from one side would need to be on the point. If equal number of players from each side were on a point, capture progress would remain static.
-There would be a match timer
3) Option for more gun attachments to change characteristics such as handling etc...
4) Option to measure/mark distance of targets in meters when aiming guns. (if this was implemented - could consider changing the range metric for guns to a value in meters.)
5) Option for 8 player matches
A shooting range would definitely be useful, but you can also load into a custom match to test things out as well.
We've let the team know about the requests for a "point/zone-capture" mode, as well as the requests for more weapon customization options.
It is confirmed that we're sticking with 4v4 for Ghost War. No higher player count is in our plans.
I love the ESS ballistic goggles, but I really wish there was a version of them that had a black lens. A Crye Precision Airframe helmet would be an awesome addition to the headwear, and I really REALLY want versions of the ACH and FAST helmet that have fabric covers on them. I was really happy and surprised when Ubisoft gave us a version of the crye combat shirt with rolled up sleeves (Been wanting that for ages) and at the very least the black ESS goggles seems like it would be a pretty easy fix. Just have a version of the texture alpha that has 100% opacity.
These are my suggestions
1. Side plates for the JPC or 5.11 Plate carrier.
2. No auto switch for the over-the-shoulder view
3. Have the season 2 pass solely within the realm of Ghost Recon in terms of "themes.
4. New missions & different type of missions
5. Have the Panoramic NVG's on the fast helmet as well
6. Have some striker fired pistols like the glock.
I love ghost mode and appreciate the tension of perma-death, but 90% of the time I die in ghost mode it's because of some freak accident like a helicopter landing on me or falling more than 15 feet instead of actually being killed in combat. Could we make it so that permadeath only applies when being killed by gunfire/explosion? If I loose a character I spent all the time to level up I want to loose to something that actually intended to kill me. Not an empty car careening towards me out of nowhere or a helicopter blade that was angled a little too close to my head.
