Ok...im going to write this in a calm relaxed manner. Ubisoft...I dont understand why the knife+animations were not added to the main game. The knife and animations for it are already in FG so I know its possible, you cant say licensing issues because you were able to add all of the FG weapons into the main game, please help me to understand why something so sought after to be in the main game was not included...I love the game, really I do, but I have done everything there is to do in it, there is nothing more...when we the players ask for new PVE content and Milsim cosmetic items like visible night vision goggles, we are not being selfish, we are making completely reasonable requests that would add more playability to your game. Mission generator for example, that would add so much playability to the game you worked on so hard. A wait system makes perfect sense as it would allow players to tackle missions at night which is extremely fun, and adds a layer of realism. What's not fun is having to wait almost an hour IRL for it to turn night time. When we ask for teammate customization options, it is only because we want to have them look the way we as the leader think they should look. Yes dressing like military in a clandestine environment defeats the purpose, but we should at least be able to dress them in similar clothes to us, and given that we have to look at them all the time, I dont think it is an unreasonable ask. The freedom to put accessories on any rail of the rifle though merely a cosmetic preference would add a lot of realism to the game. Bipods on snipers and LMG'S should be self explanatory bipods are on virtually every sniper rifle and light machine gun in the world, and even if they were just cosmetic they should still be added, maybe deployed every time we go prone or look over a box. Again none of this is negative towards you Ubisoft, I am simply stating that if you want to keep your players playing your game, you should really put our requested items/actions/suggestionz into the game. On a final note, you guys have to be more open about what you are planning. Telling us a week before something is released is not helping you at all, infact all it does is get people frustrated with you. If you tell people a month in advance, and actually give details about what will be included instead of keeping things so hush hush, you will have a very happy playerbase. I apologize for the length, but it I feel it needed to be said.
So let me get this right. Even though I am the one paying for the game, I have to accept it how the dev envisioned the game and suck it up? I think they kinda tried that over at Bungie/Activision and look where that got them.Originally Posted by KmarkoPL Go to original post
Come on now, King, you know that isn't true. PVE got the glitched crossbow and glitched BFG. What more could we have asked for? We should be grateful that we got that. I mean the Mods were excited about what was coming for PVE in this patch and those are what we got so they must be amazing PVE content! We should thank them for more glitchy weapons! I personally don't think we have enough glitchy weapons.Originally Posted by KingSpawn1979 Go to original post
So from the bottom of my empty wallet, thank you Ubi for the great PVE content in the last patch.
My understanding of those comments were that they were excited about upcoming PvE content after the Ghost War updates, not this patch.Originally Posted by Varguslives2018 Go to original post
Well... I apologize from the Bottom of my Heart! =)Originally Posted by Varguslives2018 Go to original post
I think expecting military themed content for PvE at this point is no use. Even when you look at the PvP trailers, you can see it depicts a full blown 4 vs 4 fight.
Of course, I personally have never been in the military, let alone fighting in a war, or in this case, against cartel as a spec-op. But we can read from articles, stories, or maybe watch a movie and see their renditions on how bloody and dark these things were happening, I can't help but to relate GRW to a great concept executed into an unfunny kids cartoon about Mister Ghost, Mister Buchon, and Miss Buchona with colorful guns, colorful clothings, pew-pew-pew, explosions, and screams.
Again, I understand GRW's take on being an undercover and thus the original form of the Ghost team are dressing in casual clothing. But I think the joke attributes is too much on top of the overall mood that is already out of theme. The art direction is like split between two art directors wanting exact opposite. You can see a corpse of civilian hanging on street side, you sometimes see still objects depicting chopped human body parts, and then you see a group of Rebel wearing magenta jacket and other color tones that looks like coming out from kids who just tried combining text colors in Microsoft Word WordArt.
This is why if we look at the bigger picture, the direction they decided to take on is already quite obvious. Expecting anything outside of that is pointless. We've also seen QA that was basically "NO" and some answers that sound like college student trying to BS their Professors about the project they did. We just got Fallen Ghosts weapon into the main campaign in 2018 and that was divided into 2 updates that the first one caused confusion among their team, the other one was delayed, still broken, and no words about it.
