I just think since its a knockback it should be able to knock people off ledges. Like the first few times I did it I thought it was lag or I just got unlucky, but no he can walk up to someone standing on a ledge tap them with a light then headbutt them and they will go through the animation of stumbling backwards while on the ledge, but won't go over. If there's a particular reason why they shouldn't I'm all ears.
So you want sth that is a guaranteed follow up to have the ability to instant kill? You cannot evade it once a light is landed and as you should know Shugoki can just tank through a hit and trade for a guaranteed light/heavy into headbutt so that is different from any other bash possibility and hence really, really powerful.
What I see happening there is that at first it will be extremely powerful for the Shugoki. Normally people tend to be quite aggressive against the slow Goki. If the dust settles after introducing this change people will not actively engage the Shugoki near ledges anymore and instead play it more passively as they only want to bait out the light attacks to parry those and be on the safe side. Lame turtleing at it finest, very boring and undynamic. That would make the Shogoki an even more incredible tank, but I am not sure if this would be the right way to go. I can already hold my ground as Shugoki incredibly well. I would want a bit more tools to actively engage opponents and mix things up.
And yes, surethere are a lot of threads that pick this topic up.
