I'm so disappointed in Ubisofts failure to handle things. First when the game came out with Falcon Lost exploits all over the place, it made the game almost unplayable. Literally took months to correct. I ended up taking almost a whole year off since the DZ was so rekt. I come back, now everyone is using CronusMax with a striker/SASG combination. It's not like Cronus is some new product to the market. Ubisoft and Microsoft need to start handing out permanent bans and keep banning players that come back. Ban their IP if you need to.The more expensive it is for them to come back in and play, the less likely they are going to cheat.![]()

Ok. How do they catch them? We all understand, but the common belief is no one knows how to catch them. Seeing how the game is on life support, their is no reason to throw more money into fixes, game breaking or not. Best suggestion, sell this game and take that money to pre-order the TD2 with the hope that they add anti-cheat system that will flag it. Seriously, what is the chance they will use a really good PR team to false advertise a game at E3 and give us a completely different game later.
I don't think you've thought this through.Originally Posted by Priest3505 Go to original post
Ubisoft cannot ban people they cannot find. Cronus doesn't send out anything but the controller data the game expects. The game thinks it's connected to a controller. It doesn't know Cronus exists.
How can Ubisoft stop players from using controllers they can't see? It's like asking them to ban players who own Fords. They can't see that information.
Some users are disabled and can only play using Cronus, should we ban them too?
Anyway, basically, they can't see what controller you're using. They can't ban a controller that Microsoft and Sony allow. They can't do what you ask![]()

The developers can take care of this. So can Microsoft. They have to come up with an algorithm on the console that detects scripted input from the controller. It's complete garbage if they tell you it can't be done. What the hell is the incentive to even bother with The Division 2 if everyone is just going to be cheating with it. I'd be happy with them at least saying they are addressing it for the next game.
