game wont start after update 4 | Forums

hey, after i instaled the update and i want to start up the game. it shows the start picture and then closes with no error or explanation.
plz help

Hey CanWood99! I recommend first trying to verify files (Uplay, Steam) to make sure you have no corrupt files. If that doesn't help, please try these basic troubleshooting steps to see if they help. If none of that helps, please create a ticket with MSINFO and DXDIAG files so we can troubleshoot with you further.

The problem is not solved by it, it creates even more problems thx! Now I'm allowed to reinstall Steam Thanks 1000 x Thank you

Same issue, tried everything listed... nothing worked

launching from steam or uplay has same result. looks like it's starting, then goes back to 'ready to play' without any error or notification.

check file integrity etc via steam - all ok.

assuming this is unintended consequence of latest update.

it look to be a main problem, me and 2 friends have the same issue

yup all my buddy's are also having this issue... it's got to be the "update"
