Current Bebe Event bugged - Assets not downloading? | Forums

Hey

the new event is live but the buttons aren't showing.



the game is up to date, i tried entering houses, playing campain etc to make them show up but no help.
(other users mentioned this "trick" on reddit for previously bugged event buttons)

i reinstalled the game and google play games but no help.
it seems that the game just missed parts of the new asset download or something.

i tried to play anyway and after a win in pvp i experienced a very strange replacer card for the event items.



after trying to open the pvp pack after a few games the game crashed and i had to force close it.
after relaunching it said that there are recovered items and i was offered a pack to open (gues it contained those lost items from the pvp pack?).
the game crashed again when i tried to open that pack...

so it seems the game didn't download the files for the event. i don't know... this happens to both of my accounts, the pictures are taken from my alt account.

my team says that i collected event items. so they were credited at least. but i cant click the event button to clam rewards and like i said the game is unplayable
at least in pvp because it crashes because of the reasons i mentioned above.

I don't know if this is the fix...
I cleared the cache and data, then I downloaded the game assets again from my WiFi connection, but I still had the problem.
I have then closed the app and reconnected from my 4g data network, and it worked!
The difference between the 2 connections is that with 4g I have an IPV4 public address, while my WiFi uses an IPV6 public address... Maybe this is the problem?

yeah that seems to fix it. when playing with wifi the game is downloading assets again with no event buttons. when playing with my 4g data plan it's downloading assets again and the buttons are showing. this happend not during the other events. i tried disabling ipv6 in windows / my modem but it doesn't help.

any fix on this?
