You have hyperarmor while performing the backflip, which means you won't be stunlocked and you can easily create a huge gap between you and your opponent. If your opponent is "teleporting" or "sliding" towards you while you do this, that means that you dodged backwards way too early and the opponent's attack is still in its start up phase
Unfortunately that doesn’t make sense for the move. As far as I can remember playing shinobi you can’t really delay the backflip too much. And the thing is to create space between you and your opponent after an attack. It literally defeats the whole point of the move if the opponent is sliding with you. I agree that the backflip should be have a dodge property. Maybe even trade with hyper armor because that would make more sense anyway for the character anyway.Originally Posted by KotoKuraken Go to original post
Any chance you can grab a video of that happening? I'm an avid Shinobi player myself, but I can't recall an instance where the backflip has caused an enemy to track as far as you're saying. I'd be more than happy to bring the feedback and any evidence showcasing this behavior up to the team for their input.Originally Posted by PepsiBeastin Go to original post
Yes, it is. But the only solution is disable GB for back dodge only.Originally Posted by Miadous Go to original post
