Yep, went through and did a very heavy GRIND to find just ON damn item. The Striker Knee Pad. I just don't get it. How can one grind the **** out of a GE and not come up with just one item that you may be looking for? I think I'm going to step away from this game for quite some time. It's lunacy to play this game.

It's by design. GE will mostly give you 5/6 GS pieces. Meaning the sixth piece you will get it on Resistance, UG or DZ. I got 3 sets of Striker this GE but all of them are using same mask which I had from Resistance grind, earlier. Without the Resistance mask I would have 3 5/6 Striker sets.
It's designed that way so ppl may play various modes and areas, and not to grind just one thing only.

It is not random my friend, it is completely by design and rigged that way.
During the first go around of assault GE, I got 5 pieces of classified sentry gear and was missing the holster to complete the set.

Now... how many months later and the second assault GE came back, guess what I got out of the very first superior assault cache I bought.....yep you guessed it, sentry holster.

I was clearing LMB in the dz for the weekly since I'd already done the 10 missions part several times over. Striker chest dropped and I considered picking it up but since I was solo and there was a decent amount of rogue activity in my sector I decided to just get my kills and bounce. at the end of the night I was going thru gear and stash only to find out... i was a striker chest short of a complete set for a third toon. lol

Got lucky this weekend, started with 1 piece of sentry and 0 of striker, and was able to complete both sets despite limited playtime. As a bonus I completed reclaimer and ground out 4500 GE credits for next weekend. Which probably just means RNG will screw me on Predators next weekend.

4 hours in the dz yesterday, buddy and I, and we didn’t get one classy drop or exotic.

Farmed from dz09 to 05, nothing but junk

Nothing of interest ever drops in the DZ. I only go in there to collect as much DIV TECH as possible. All those "Incoming Drops" that you go and fight for only has stuff that you can buy at some safe house. And those chests caches that you need a key for to open is a fraud. I went through at least 50 keys to find one classified item, and never some exotic weapon. Now I can start to truly understand why so many people are pissed off at this game, or just delete the game from their system never to return. All the patches that I can remember from 1.4 to this very date has done nothing to create any type of interest for the game. This gets nurfed, that gets nurfed. It's a bunch of BS because all it really is are tidbits that has you thinking, "Hey, they may actually do something with this game". And now they’re all pumped up with this Division 2. It very much like the song from The Who. "Meet the new boos, Same as the old boss". We won't get fooled again. But we do with every patch.
