I'm seriously asking, what happened here then? I've seen since the day the Ata was released. This was a bot, in an all bot match, so no lag involved.
I asked this in the video's deacription, but..
A) Why didnt I dodge his Unblockable? If that dodge wasn't "gud enough" then **** this game. I saw it, I reacted and moved away from his swing. Its a super hard-hitting unblockable. It shouldn't ****ing track at all. AT ALL.
B) Why, of why, didnt his attacks get stopped, with recoil, when I blocked his top Light? Isn't that the whole shtick, to block the top light and take advantage? Oh, and...
C) IF this **** was a combo of Heavies this game can **** right off. Those are as ****ing fast as his lights. I don't cate of data shows they are slower, they look just as fast, on console at least.
1) you dodged way early. His side heavy unblockable from blade blockade is super slow. I think that's either 700ms or 800ms. You dodged as if it was a 600ms or 500ms. If it had no tracking it wouldn't ever land at all. it hardly does as is.
2) the only light in that combo was the light after the unblockable hit. the rest were heavies indicated by the fact that he was swinging both swords at the same time for the rest of those attacks.
3) His lights in neutral are 500ms. His heavies from neutral are 600ms. in combo his lights drop to 400ms and his heavies go to 500ms.
qq all you want. Mushu is bottom tier. all he has is speed and against half decent players that's not even enough.
Alright, I usually agree with you but there is no way in HELL Mushu is bottom tier. He's upper B class. The amazing feint game is amazing.Originally Posted by Knight_Raime Go to original post
Not even close to good enough. A truly abysmal timing indeed.Originally Posted by HazelrahFirefly Go to original post
The amazing feint game can be amazingly turtled. Any light that gets blocked and the feint game is over. Any light that gets parried and it's gg Mr. Aramusha, you now have only your zone and turtling up to fall back on. Great options, much A tier.Originally Posted by Sauronbaine Go to original post
If your defence game was better you'd have made mince meat of that bot and be laughing about how easy it was.Originally Posted by HazelrahFirefly Go to original post
Maybe on pc, I've met a total of probably 10 people on console that parry his lights consistently.Originally Posted by Vakris_One Go to original post
I suppose thats true. I hate playing defensively in this, and every game. I find it boring and literally get depressed when I have to do it (have major depression problems). If you have to turtle to fight Aramusha then ugggghhh, I like this game a lot less than I thought.
Good news is that I can out manuever them at times with the Orochi and PK, and crush them with the HL.
To the competitive community as far as duels go he's the second worst hero in the game. Goki is behind him as the worst. Perhaps I was originally too harsh. for the majority of the community he's probably B tier like you said. But the kind of people I play against I have to work my arse off to even get close to wining a fight. The only way you're going to consistently win as mushu at my level is if you're good at delaying deadly feints as much as you can as consistently as you can and throwing in hard feints mid combo to quickly flow into blade blockade on specific attacks. and even if you manage that you can easily be baited in this regard and be GBed for free.Originally Posted by Sauronbaine Go to original post
It's just such an uphill battle to play Aramusha at a decently competitive level that it genuinely frustrates me to play as him.
Both zerker and mushu are combo heros who rely on speed and feints to get anywhere. it sucks to have any hero put you on your heals. But trust me when I say these 2 heros would be dead in the water if you played at a decently high level. Only reason zerk manages to actually work is because she is on HA crutches with unblockable chain finishers. Mushu has neither. entirely relies on delaying his own feints. and some how managing to bait people into BB. And even then that requires you to get in on someone. Which happens very little as mushu.Originally Posted by HazelrahFirefly Go to original post
