indeed game was re-installed but it wasn't me
just minutes before event disappear, I've run Trials and it started at the beginning, after skipping tutorial phone/server save appears, I've choose server and all was there - of course except Love Event

Hello! Ok i Understand, but I missed the last 9 track pieces.. how I get them? why don't everyone get equal opportunities? I'm disappointed..

The event time was extended from 12th to 19th of March, so players who re-installed the game would have lost the event as the initial DLC was deleted.

I was enthusiastic about the move from 12th to 19th. I played every day, spent tons of diamonds, and still only had 28k hearts. I had planned on taking a few sick days from work and spending more diamonds to finish it.

However, verbiage. "players who re-installed the game" should be "games that were re-installed through any means" as in many cases this was done without player interaction or consent (such as mine).

On the plus side, I can cancel my sick leave requests.

Just happened to me 30 mins ago. Worked fine all day, and had just spent even more gems for event boosters.

Started game 30 minutes ago and it crashed suddenly. That's fine, happens every time there's a game update. I restart the game and see that all data was erased. I resync and it downloads my profile.

However, the Love event is gone. It's not showing in the map, nor in any text. There was over seven days left (checked just before it crashed)

The tracks are there. Partial completion of Twisted and Downtown. Plus some new Cold Shoulder track that I'm afraid to start and be considered a cheater.

Hi Riders, sorry to hear that your event ended earlier than expected. The event time was extended from 12th to 19th of March, so players who re-installed the game would have lost the event as the initial DLC was deleted.

Unfortunately, there is no workaround to resolve this issue right now but we’re figuring out solutions for this issue.

Also, I hope you got your event rewards? If not, we’ll make sure to get you the rewards you’ve won so far.

Do not worry about getting banned on the Tracks that you’ve earned. We’ll keep your records intact.

The same just happened to me - we DID NOT reinstall the game - we got the in-game updater download. I got no event ending reward screen - but i did keep my track pieces and got cold shoulder - the problem for me is i had so far only collected 5/10 pieces for downtown love (which i would have in the next 7 days as i was on track to do it easily)

Wow this event has been such a mess haha.

It's like they set the Time Left timer ahead 7 days but didn't actually set the event timer.
Lots of people, myself included, were using the time left to calculate exactly how we should play in order to get the reward they were hoping for. If the event is actually just gone now it will be hard to get it back. Compensation for this blunder will be difficult to plan out since different people had different plans.

It's not like that. Original end date was stored in game cache that installed with the game. And prolonged one is stored in additional content. So everyone who got additional content download window got this bug also. Game just took original date from game cache and didn't take it from additional content.
This download window usually appears when game was crashed or improperly closed / cache was cleaned / device run out of space.

This morning I was about 450 points from the last map piece. All the recent activity on this thread spooked me, and I decided to invest another 30 gems in this to eliminate the chance of this type of "event stopped but I still needed a piece" hassle.

I probably just wasted 30 gems but I feel sooo much better knowing this darn event is essentially over for me. And if over the rest of the day I should happen to have the event go away... I will have this thread to thank for saving me grief. Thanks for posting guys!

OK, CaptainWeelie. But I did not reinstall the game. Only a sudden automatic update came in and it happened. As can be seen in the print above I was unable to win the last part of the Downtown Love track and the painting. Please help us!

Why would you want to store the event timer in a cache instead of having the timer be on the server, with the client checking the time periodically?
