Why does Reddit get listened too more than the FORUMS?

Like... why!? We forumers give great feedback and suggestions (even though some are just made out of salt), and we should probably get listened to more often because this is the GAMES. FORUMS.

The Reddit primarily has Eric, but the Community Reps here are all a part of the community team with him. I can assure you that everything we are passing along here is being brought forward to the team in the same manner that feedback on Reddit has been.

Stop talking about reddit on the official stream and start getting active here. Reddit is a 3rd party site which is treated like it's some official community source.

I'm going to second this: I hate Reddit, and I refuse to be a part of it. But here? These are THE OFFICIAL GAME FORUMS. And what gets mentioned from here!? Nothing. No mention of the community creations in the section literally labeled "Community creations". No mention that I can see of prominent forum figureheads. No mention of the issues that get repeatedly brought up on the forums. It's all Reddit, Reddit, Reddit.

But then again, these forums are also plagued with errors, spambots and weird rules that make no sense. So it's hardly surprising to see how little the team cares about it or the people on it. I know we get the occasional community rep coming in and saying "Yeah, we're totally listening, you guys, we've passed along all this stuff to the team, honest!" But when it comes time to actually deliver on the issues the forum continues to address, we get nothing.

    - No serious discussion of the Faction War's irrelevance in the grand scheme of things, and the way that the Vikings win every damn season without fail.
    - No acknowledgement of issues that get repeatedly raised on the forums, such as the painfully unbalanced Shaman and the one-trick-pony Centurion.
    - No mention of suggestions, artwork, community creations or other such details that get posted on the regular here.

Instead it's all Reddit, all the damn time. They even tell the chat to go to Reddit to find the stream recaps! No wonder the guy who was doing them here up and left.

I do agree that the forums are ignored and neglected. Especially in the warriors den. And not to rub salt in the wound, but there was a post that was on the suggested section the other day titled "f u c k the devs" or something like that and it was up for a whole 24 hours before someone saw it and took it down. It was funny for the first few hours, but after it hit a whole day I was really disappointed.

I normally dont agree with most of the forum posters on this forum, but this one I do.

Reddit is aids. It's all memes and porn on that sight. Its basically 4chan. I NEVER use reddit unless I google something and its one of the answers. I dont even have an account there. We need to focus more on the forums... reddit is a joke. Please stop.

    I also agree.

Now don’t get me wrong.... IF ATTENTION WAS EQUALLY SPREAD BETWEEN BOTH REDDIT AND THE FORUMS....I’d be ok with even that.

The problem is, almost every good and relevant post that comes up, guess what you don’t see? DEV PRESENCE. But then, not to discredit the very small problems, but you get things like “my character doesn’t have any new gear but the little yellow dot is still there” “when will we get different armor skins?” And other small things that get THE ONLY attention from the devs instead of suggestions and questions about the actual gameplay and serious concerns. Again, these are indeed problems that should be addressed, I’m not saying they aren’t problems, but they are small things in comparison to balancing and game play bugs. All I’m saying is it’s very PICK AND CHOOSE it seems as to what they actually decide to “pass up to the team”.

Which leads to the other point that even with the very few problems that decide to actually give any sort of response to, it’s always the same thing: “we will pass it to the team” or “we already passed that up and are working on it” or the likes, but the only problems being responded to are also NEVER FIXED it seems.

I’m not one to be typically negative or a downer, but I’ve seen MULTIPLE people on these forums with very real and helpful ways to help fix big problems this game has, just for them to go unnoticed by the team despite being the top forum for a week sometimes. These forums almost always have great compromises of all players inputs too and could help mediate the console vs. PC play much more effectively.

It’s kind of BS and a huge shame.

Its actually getting stupidly ridiculous with the memes. Look with what kind of **** the devs waste their freakin time:

It’s pretty obvious why. Just read through the comments on that reddit thread. Reddit is primarily full of yes-men and meme-obsessed arch-types.

Listen to those that praise the very ground you walk on and would defend a turd if you spit on it......... or listen to those that have problems with your game and the direction it’s headed?
