Well, there you go then. Developers have the means to detect and block it on Xbox but not on PlayStation.

Ubisoft might not have done something on Xbox yet because they just haven't had time. Perhaps they don't want to block the adapter on one console but not the other.

Ubisoft could declare that the use of keyboard adapters is cheating to deter players from using them, and that they will ban players who do use them, but I think they are unlikely to do that since whether or not it's cheating is debatable. I just cannot see them making this kind of move.

There could even be an imminent patch in the pipeline for Xbox.

As a Ubisoft customer and user of Ubisoft products I would demand the following:

Update the EULA, if necessary, to make it against the terms of the EULA to use 3rd party products which allow the user to cheat or gain an unfair advantage

Implement an immediate block on 3rd party products, wherever possible on any platform or device, that enable players to cheat or gain an unfair advantage

So actually, either it's you that's wrong, as it's only you're opinion that using a keyboard adapter is cheating. Or, the keyboard adapter is hard to detect, making it difficult to enforce the rules. Or, the rules simply don't apply to keyboard adapters.

I messaged a few Ubisoft employees how to detect the majority of cheaters through a failproof and extremely easy detection method. Unfortunately they are all applying the silent treatment. I think there are severe leadership issues in Montreal or most people don't care about the cheating and simply want money flowing in.

Indeed. Ubisoft has to be extrinsically motivated, this requires more people to understand the situation and complain just like the Chinese censoring. If people won't complain Ubisoft will have to notice a decline in sales due to people (subconsciously) being less interested in the game because of the MKb plague. Unfortunately the MKb problem is a little more complicated to some. Currently too many people think it's a lost cause mostly due to nonsense like (1) MKb can't be detected and (2) MKb periphials are so called 'licensed' and therefore allowed.

Some people are literally too ignorant or at cheating themselves: In the past a lot of people even doubted the advantages of MKb or made up the excuse those who use it have sore thumbs, I think this discussion is behind is now.

They won’t do anything about it. If they were working on it they would tell us. There is no word about new season. Most known issues thread is gone and forgotten. This will be the last year of siege. And when ubi abandon this game, ranked will be still in beta. It’s time to buy xim and ruin this game for everyone

I hate to admit you could be right.

Regarding the last phrase, I prefer playing the PC version or another game. Although there is also a cheater problem on PC it's nowhere near the amount of cheaters on console. Yesterday I played a hostage match by accident and he got taken away before the match started.
