These products are officially endorsed. So this problem probably won't go away.
Binding keys was beyond most gamers. Now they're using speed pads, are they? How ridiculous people are.
I can remember not that long ago when they couldn't give away those Belkin Nostromo speed pads. That's why Razer bought the license.
The first Belkin Nostromo I bought (Belkin was the company that made it) cost 20 in PC World around 2008.
But, the last Razer Orbweaver Chroma I bought (which is basically the same as the Belkin Nostromo) was 129.99. The build quality is worse than the Nostromo and I've already had it replaced once.
The TAC Pro is amazingly expensive at 125.00+ considering it's a crappy little console peripheral. But imagine how much cash the people who sell it are raking in. Fortunes.
It probably costs 5.00 a unit to make in China or Taiwan.
It's greed that's at the root of this problem. Gamers are being ripped off across the board.
A solution would be a regulating body that recognises games officially which would make it difficult for someone to come along and start exploiting gamers with dodgy apps and hardware.
Thats whare ur wrong the hortack pro maybe officially endorsed from Sony but Ubisoft has it turned off completely you cant just plug it In and play its desaple to use it you must bye a 3rd part un lissond prodicd that tricks the consol in to think its a normal PS4 pad so no matter if ur useing a lissond product at all ur still useing a 3rd party unlissod product to root round Ubisofts ban on the priffles witch is CHEATINGOriginally Posted by FindFixFinish Go to original post

What has Ubisoft said about the keyboard adapter?Originally Posted by Kenny324410 Go to original post
Its right there in thay terms and conditionsOriginally Posted by FindFixFinish Go to original post
third party software which provides any sort of unfair advantage is the xim not a 3rd party software yes its all so 3rd party hardware has well considered the fact that xim uses its own software not lissond by Sony makes it 3rd party witch means it brakes Ubisoft terms and conditions
So actually, either it's you that's wrong, as it's only you're opinion that using a keyboard adapter is cheating. Or, the keyboard adapter is hard to detect, making it difficult to enforce the rules. Or, the rules simply don't apply to keyboard adapters.Originally Posted by Kenny324410 Go to original post
If the latter is the case then Ubisoft may need to consult Sony and Microsoft to get permission for banning players for using a keyboard adapter. Which could in turn mean updating the EULA if the current clauses in the EULA do not sufficiently cover the use of keyboard adapters. Presumably, any EULA changes would also require approval from Sony and Microsoft. They might not be keen to approve the outlawing of products which enable the use of products which they make money from.
On PC there is a cheating pandemic. You can watch videos about how to bypass BattlEye, how to make cheats or just watch players cheating. There are hundreds of websites purporting to sell cheats. What do you think they do about all that? 'Not much' is the correct answer.
Good luck getting it sorted. I think it's a disgraceful situation all round.
And that had been Ubisoft stans in older threads contact Sony and Microsoft but then Microsoft hit out with this that developers all ready have the tools to ban them and thay thay takeing a stand on it its just pass the buck at the moment develops blaming Sony and Microsoft and Microsoft hiting back with dont talk crap we have gave yous the tools use themOriginally Posted by FindFixFinish Go to original post
