You have to ask yourself, do you want the cheat devices blocked or do you want continued Seasons, ops, maps, and modes. This is basically a lose-lose scenario for them. They do nothing about the devices, they lose players, they do something about the devices requiring a halt on development and longer updates resulting in loss of players.

And here is my counter for your down side. Play with a mouse and keyboard. The problem with banning the mouse and keyboard, is that again, the people who are willing to use a xim will still be using a mouse and keyboard while you don't even have the option of using a mouse and keyboard because the native support was removed for no good reason.

And yes; a 75% reduction in cost is going to be the appeal of the console, not the input method.
I play on console because I like using the controller and enjoy the level playing field it provides. If MK becomes standard I'll probably just quit FPS's because I don't feel like dealing with nerds with insta 180 pinpoint accuracy.

As for XIM, it does not replicate a MK setup 100%, and while its not ideal, I would rather deal with the occasional XIM user than the hordes of PC wannabes who would come if MK was openly allowed.

The only way I could see MK support working would be if players were separated by input type, making possible cross platform play between xbox and PC.

1 Ubi could/should start announcing publicly it is banable. Whether they will take action or not.

2 Enforcing a level playing field is core of keeping successful games alive. Talking about prolongivity in regards to recent changes, do you honestly think Outbreak (a temporary, non R6 related zombie mode without rewards) and Finka (a non R6 related secret hero straight from Overwatch) add up to that?

3 Developing anti cheat software is not done by the same team that creates maps and operators. It's probably a sum of money they need to use to outsource.

I just wanna point out something...

You're here, on a gaming forum, arguing about M&K on consoles, and you are calling someone good with a M&K a NERD because they apparently would 180 and kill you before you had a chance to kill them with their back turned to you...

Just let sink that in for you dude. I think you're in the wrong realm of society.

Also P.S. in every sport there are different types of gear, some giving others an edge and yet they are all still allowed because players choose what is either available to them or makes them feel most comfortable.

Are people going to start asking to ban really good headsets that are expensive because they give too much of an edge?

    This a non discussion.

Xim4 is intented to circumvent the intented form of use which is using analogue sticks to play. Good headsets and arguably Scuff controllers are within the scope of intented form of use.

I wanna point something out, I don't give a **** what you and your fellow MK nerds think. Stick to PC with that crap where you belong.

As for advantages of a good headset or elite controller, none of them compare to the difference between a controller and a MK setup. Its like competing in a marathon with better running shoes vs competing in a car.

Hahaha when did I say I use a M&K on console? I haven't seriously gamed on a PC since 2009 when I was still in HS. You're raging hard over there and your mindset is all wrong.

A good headset will allow someone to outplay someone w/poor sound a M&K any day. Unless the one not using the M&K is a poor tactician. In every game, sound cues allow you to pre-aim, pre-fire, or circumvent an enemy who is non-the-wiser. So yea, a good headset is a perfect example.

And also, still - the game is designed for controllers. Someone using the M&K are still relegated to the inputs designed for the game. So for example, they cannot lean without ADS.

If these things were "so bad" then console manufactures would put in clauses that these tools would be a breach of Policy of Use/Code of Conduct.

I am not saying M&K and Controllers are on an equal playing field as eye-to-hand can be faster than eye-thumbs, but you're both using the same system. What I hope NEVER becomes a thing is actual crossplay between PC and Console because PC machines out-perform consoles, and that combined with a M&K with different controls would result in a bloodbath.

Some people play with top gear at a desk and PC monitor, others are on a couch using a TV - one is more conducive to excelling than the other. I personally used to play my PS4 at my desk until I upgraded my PS4 to take advantage of the 4k tv. Now I play on my tv while lounging with one of my dogs. I'll still go head to head with someone using M&K, I personally could care less.

End of the line is - if the developers and manufacturers do not outlaw it, and it is easily accessible to EVERYONE, then it is fair play.

Except it is outlawed. Ubisoft doesnt allow mouse and keyboard in their game on console. If you use a mouse and keyboard youre pathetic and I feel sorry for you. Go play on PC where it is an playing field for mouse and keyboard users. But I doubt you have the balls to do that because youd probably get your butt kicked. What youre doing is trying to give yourself an edge because you know most people dont use a mouse and keyboard on console because its not built into the game. Like I said youre pathetic.

You're using "You're" a bit too much their man. Like I said, I DO NOT USE M&K. Damn people getting their **** so bundled up in these forums.

And so right with my last line (in case you didn't read that part too) I said if they don't outlaw then it's fair game. So anyone with reading comprehension would safely assume "that means if they do outlaw, it's not fair play." There has to be something in the console that is able to recognize the software being utilized and should be easily countered. But I have never seen any statement from Ubisoft that this is truly outlawed. Other's don't seem to have seen it either. Where did they make an official announcement?

As a sidenote - Do you share your account with someone else @DKDridin? Sometimes I see your posts in threads and go "yea, I'm on board with that". But then it seems like someone else posts and you're flying off the handle about nonsense. Your personal stances and approach seem to sway by extremes, depending on the thread topic.

Different topics deserve different reactions. If I misunderstood and you dont use a mouse and keyboard I apologize but in your defense of them it really does seem like you probably do. Either way That comment is aimed at anyone who uses a mouse keyboard. I think theyre all ****heads.
