Massive have proven their dedication and loyalty to their community. They have proven that they listen to what we have to say (for better or worse).
Lets discuss some features we might like to see (or ones we want to steer very clear of).
Some examples:
- Do we want classes?
Though I immediately cringe at the idea, perhaps there will be some way to make it work. Any ideas?
- A bigger (more useful) Skill Tree?
The informed player base uses only a fraction of the skills in The Division. Maybe if we were given a wider variety of Active Abilities with greater potential synergy we could see some cool stuff.
Your turn, Agents.
You see the problem here is what the game really needs is what you are suggesting it already has ... when it doesn't. The developers HAVE NOT proven their dedication and loyalty to the community at all. They have lied to us, led us along at every turn and in many instances abandoned us, leaving us with a broken game for months on end. They have not listened to anything we say hence their pursuit of the hated PvEvP DZ and abysmal balancing.Originally Posted by Jeow.6 Go to original post
I appreciate the positive note of this thread but can you not see the irony of suggesting an extended skill tree when EVERY skill in the game has been made redundant as a result of nerfs imposed by the developers? The only two viable skills left in the game (shock turret and immunizer) require no skill power to use and have been the staple of DPS builds since the game released.
What this game needs is a developer who actually takes note of its community and responds to feedback.
In terms of TD2 what is required is a cooperative PvE focused end game experience with PvP limited to separate game modes just like the Crucible in Destiny. Skills need to be a major part of the game and should be powerful. Balance needs to be achieved which means gearsets need to be restricted to PvE and bland vanilla loadouts applied to PvP so that everyone remains on an even playing field.
No more cheesy design.... ^^
1. If snipers can 1-2 shot a dps then they should be able to be suppressed or have their aim affected by incoming fire. The higher the volume of bullets that hit the lower the accuracy should be.
2. Better balanced gearsets. If youre gonna give a gearset that can have decent raw health, great dps and is then given the ability to auto-heal, then make sure you add some negatives to balance it out. Its design 101.
3. More matchmaking options. This may split some of the community but note: I dont want to play with farmers on resistance if I want to see how I far I can go. And vice-versa. Also if I feel the need to go into a DZ (whatever it maybe in 2) that is full of groups then I also want the choice of going into a DZ that is 1:1 or 1:2 max. No more 4:1 dz encounters if I dont want them. And no more multi-grouping. Players on friends lists that are not in the same group should auto transition to another server.
Of course theres more but theyre the top 3 cheeses for me. And while I love cheese this type I can do without!
EDIT: 4. Leaderboards to show which WT they were accomplished on.
Yes please Diablo 2 and it's unforgiving RNG worked because you could trade for items you wanted. I long for those days.Originally Posted by B4BYR4C3R Go to original post
Throw in the fact i'm playing with my only remaining buddy right now and he can't get a complete set to save his life, If I could share he would have his dream strikers set by now and not be into I think i'm about done with this game mode. C'mon Massive throw us a bone.
