    Explore/destination/journey-ish mode for 12 ppl.

    Can we please make this possible? As it stands, I don't think the system will let us play escape maps with 12 ppl, unlimited time, etc.

    It would require:

    No time limit
    Maybe a finish "area"

    That's it! I hope it's not too much to ask. It's why I'd buy the game.

    I personally have not made a Journey map..but my impression is that you set X amount of player spawns, I dont know if its 1 or 2 or 12...maybe Fallen Champ can clarify.

    But there is a extraction point you place, its basically a 'volume' block that players must reach. You set the time limit to what ever you want AFAIK. Again, I could be wrong...FC...care to chime in? or anyone else in the group?

    I am a huge fan of puzzle/escape maps, and I am really disappointing that you can have unlimited time again. Stop adding unnecessary limitations. LIMITATION = BAD lol

    I mean, there is a way. I'll remind everybody I haven't played a fc since FC2. So everything I say I'm reminded of the Fc2 map editor.

    I the Fc2 editor you have a ten second "start" screen right before the game starts showing anything visually on the map. You can use this screen to show signs such as "this is an escape map" and/or "do not kill", etc... Not sure if fc5 will have that.

    Also if there is an option to vote to add time during game (like in Fc2) than it would be a little bit better and slightly more possible to make a longer than 20 or 30 minute escape map, that is if you keep voting to add time.

    And yes, you would need some cooperation with everybody if you played an escape map in DM.

    But for journey I do not like it that you'd lose health the further you are away from your partner, because in escape maps you'd be dying and starting over all the time. And this would also not work with 12 ppl, so we'd need some special mode for it it seems.

    I'm sure you meant can't. Lol

    Yes it's literally the main reason for me to buy the game, make and play puzzle/escape maps. I, personally, get a lot more satisfaction from making escape maps rather than dm, tdm, etc. maps. You can control a lot more.

    Someone said come for the SP, stay for the MP. I'm more of a come for the MP/ME, stay for the MP/ME guy. I don't get satisfaction from killing npcs like I used to.

    If you can set the player amount to 12, and set the "lose health if far away" off, than I'm all game for that.

    Well there's always been a reasonable handful of people who want such a game mode. I've heard the cries for a proper escape mode since before FC2. However Ubisoft HATES this mode and will never so much as acknowledge that there are even people interested in it. As far as I'm aware Ubisoft has never even once mentioned anything about escape maps.

    Once again, usmovers, you're wrong. Journey is ubis name for escape mode.

    And guess what... there's a map tag you set called escape. So instead of whining and making things up. Wait until release or ask one of us who knows.

    And yes there are a few parameters you can set. Im Not sure offthe top off my head. But i think time might one.

    Can you set unlimited time and 12 players? That's been answered before and the answer is no. Proper FC2 style escape maps are not possible.

    If I'm wrong about the lobby system or about escape maps then I promise I will come here post launch and admit it.

    PROPER fc2 escape maps? lol there you go again...


    The escape maps possible on FC5 will be absolutely amazing. Nothing like it. There is only a limit of creativity.

    Who cares if you can or cant play with 12 ppl. Escape maps are made to play solo technically. Besides, I THINK but dont hold me to it, that all the SP modes have COOP.
