Honestly until you can reasonably react block the 400ms light you shouldn't be attempting to parry it.
If you spend most of your time blocking lights the zerk will have to let a heavy fly at some point if the zerk wants to combo.
Which he does in order to get into the unblockables. So you have to learn to look for heavies and learn to parry those.
I'll quote some of my post from other threads.
berserker is very limited in range, don't try to trade, unless your char is made for it and/or you see a opportunity, parry is an option since the infinite chain is predictable to a certain point and lights are not impossible to block or parry, they are telegraphed by a feint and that makes them reactable and also pretty good readableAlso i can confirm Knight_Raimes point.I do understand your confusion here - spacing has an important roll in any fighting game, same counts for For Honor. Lets say i start to go into a chain or feinting into lights with berserker. Those 400ms lights maybe have the lowest range in the game.
He will dance on the spot and that's an opportunity to strike without trading - i fought really good wardens, who counterd my attacks with heavy hits, because i missed due to my low range.
Use attacks while walking backwards you will hit an attacking berserker while he swings in the air.
I don't say it is very easy, but it isn't hard either.
You don't need to parry them, blocking them is enough - if a berserker uses a 400ms light, he used up much stamina for a heavy, feint (which is as much as a heavy), and the 400ms light which consumes more then a regular light, thats already 1/3 of his stamina, block it and he has lost 1/2 stamina.
Now he will dodge backwards to get safe and refill stamina, there you get a free GB.
And if he stays aggressive, just light attack him - he won't get the hyper just in time.
The best training you can attempt is fighting lvl 3 berserker bots.
And if you can deal with them, you will have less problems against players.
After that you would need a good sparing partern (or learn to play berserker yourself - thats the best way to counter any hero, knowing your enemy)
Very much this, the characters I have at rep 7 I find easier to deal with. I am pretty tempted to get all of the heroes up to rep 7 now servers are working well (for me in any case, one drop in more than 60 matches). By the time I have the knights (faction), assassins (general play style) and kensei (already started him) at rep 7 there will only be five I haven't not considering any new characters.I'm hoping that helps me in ranked dominion when I am playing those I am more comfortable with.Originally Posted by S0Mi_xD Go to original post
