Greetings. Veteran player. I am concerned about not being able to play the game if the servers are unavailable. There were a number of times where, due to server maintenance, the game could not be played; the main menu cannot even be reached. I understand with maintenance you cannot play in matchmaking, but why can you not play the Story Mode or custom match against AI ? Its troubling to think that, with all the time alot of us have put into this game, if the servers are down, we simply have a $60~ piece of plastic.

I think this is because the patches and maintenance change the game code, so if you were to play whilst maintenance is going on it could cause some issues. But I’m no dev so I don’t know for sure.
