First game on, block an attack 100%. I recorded it. Watched it, went through every animation for blocking the attacks fully. Made the noise and everything. Died. This should have been in the game since day 1, and after a year it finally is, and it’s either a lie or a half assed job. I don’t expect anything more from you people. Far Cry is about the only game you will ever get money from me again for.
Something to keep in mind is that lag compensation has not been implemented yet. While it may have shown you blocking the attack on your end, the data of your block input likely lagged behind the data of the attack connecting. Adding lag compensation into For Honor is the next step now that dedicated servers are live on all platforms and we'll be looking to discuss it further in the coming weeks.Originally Posted by ItBeJUSTICE1 Go to original post

Why would you put in dedicated servers without lag compensation? You had to have known that it would be an issue from the start when it was put in place 2 weeks before console. I had probably the worst game yesterday because of that. Something like this should have been in there when the servers launched and not something that comes afterwards. These servers have been in the works for some time with even a test run on pc to iron out any bugs or issues. How long do we have to wait for this to be fixed? All I feel we do is wait for patches and updates to fix issues with this game.
Dedicated servers do not get rid of lag. It prevents connection advantage and match drops.
Lag comp is what you're looking for. and the dedi servers have it built in. But it's not turned on. their reasoning is they wanted the servers stable first and then collected sufficient data so they know what numbers to for the lag comp to adjust to.
