Hello, gents.
I was wondering if you could give us a little more information as to what the actual cutoff is to drop back out of Legendary once Season 2 ends today.
Personally, I would rather eat rusted nails, chewing them suckers up nice and good, and then wash them down with a cup of broken glass, rather than remain in Legendary.
I am currently 1600 but am planning on dropping down to 4000+ if I have to in order to drop back out of Legendary.
So, can anyone provide a little more info about this? I've heard it is the bottom half of Legendary players, but I will gladly throw away my hard earned rewards if it ensures that I will not be doomed to this hell (Legendary queue) for another month.
Thank you.
P.S.- I positively love this game. I just will have to stop playing it for a month if I don't drop, and that would bum me out.
Even with the new phone system, you don't like being in legendary?
I'm a freshly legendarized player. I got placed in the 2k's but over the week dropped down to 5000+# rank. Even so, i prefer it to rank 50. The extra rare card and rewards are worth the extra hassle.
It helps not having to win matches for the pack. I'll still win a match every once and a while. I only play when the pvp pack is available, anyway.
The thing that bothered me a lot during the 49-50 transition was that every time you go from rank 49 to 50, it would show you the damn arena "unlock", even though that's a rank 45 unlock. Also...why would it show you unlocked it every time you cross over to that rank? It should only show it the first time you reach it. Bah! Anyway, i'm glad i don't have to deal with that anymore.
Why don't you like being in legendary? Not even if you sandbag a little to the 2k or 3k ranks?
I hate, hate, hate it.Originally Posted by some_ASSl-lOLE Go to original post
I absolutely agree that the repeated revelations of the Level 45 stage when you hit 50 is extremely annoying (and laggy, on my phone), but the variety of team makeups is so much greater.
I just hit Level 14, and most of my opponents are higher level, regardless of if I'm 45, 50 or legendary. Those who are my level (and especially lower level) and are being matched against me are usually "good" players. And I dig it. I know I'm often at a disadvantage and I enjoy the challenge.
But that changes in Legendary.
People are trying their hardest to be the top rank, and often times when doing so, especially in a new game with access to only so many cards (atm), variety goes out the window. You are taking the strongest cards because you need them to contend with the same thing being thrown back at you.
You also need to have the resources to upgrade all the required 2- and 3- cost cards required. I dont have the $ IRL nor the in-game materials even if I did to try to contend.
All that aside, there is the simple human factor.
Sometimes since hitting legendary it will take me more than an hour, more than two hours several mornings, just to get the 5 phones for my free pack. When I can drop if I'm having a bad day or wanna try a non-netdeck composition and have a chance of winning, I prefer not going against tryhards every single game. (No offense to anyone!!)
